[Episode 60710] [Episode 60710]"Damn." Thought Dr. Diggers. The red mark on his cheek still stung. "It was a logical mistake to make. If two girls stumble out of the trees and up to the door, it's a sure bet that they need taming. How was I supposed to know that they weren't PokeGirls? It's not like we get visitors from another dimension every day."
He turned back to his guests. "Do you know why the portal that pulled you in was open in the first place?"
"We were trying to retrieve a friend of ours who was pulled into this world earlier. The portal was supposed to send two people who were closest to him, directly to him. Unfortunately, it seems that just because it's mystical doesn't mean that it's infallable" Said the younger of the two girls.
"Hmm. I haven't heard of anybody else who was claiming to be from another world." Replied Dr. Diggers
"By the way, would you mind if we collected some samples and ran some tests? You're the first pure-human girls on this world in at least 300 years."
"I'll consider it." She replied in a rather distracted manner "Would you mind telling me more about these 'PokeGirls' that you mistook us for?"
"Well first," He began "they are almost human with a variety of differences that vary between types.
The sad part is that, because of their origins, they are subservient to their male masters and have little to no will to resist whatever they do to them. In addition, they have to be tamed regularly or they will lose their minds and go wild. They grow up ordinarily but eventually they will either undergo threshold natually or have it forcibly triggered by an unscrupulous trainer. It is at that point which they gain the attributes which define them as PokeGirls."
"That's terrible." interjected the older girl "They're no better than slaves."
"You mentioned 'Taming'" Said the younger girl "What exactly is involved."
"Sexual Intercourse." stated Dr. Diggers bluntly.
Both girls' faces showed a mixture of disgust, pity, and anger.
"What's worse than that" continued Dr. Diggers is that, like all women here, my daughters are PokeGirls and they've been captured by one of the worst fiends to ever be called a trainer. Ranma Sextome."
"Sextome?" asked both girls. Their faces showing a mixture of confusion and surprise.
"Ranma Sextome. Heir to the Sexto..*" begins Dr. Diggers only to be interrupted.
"It's OK. We just wanted to make sure that we heard you properly." Said the younger girl
"Why?" asked Dr. Diggers
"Because the friend who we are looking for is named Ranma Saotome." replied the younger girl
Dr. Digger's face showed a look of surprise and worry. "I hope that your friend isn't anything like his namesake here?" he asked looking even more worried.
"Oh no. If anything, our Ranma is the complete opposite. He can be rude and stubborn at times but he is honorable, kind, and would never intentionally hurt anybody weaker than him." the older girl replied
Dr. Diggers looked immensely relieved.
"By the way" asked the younger girl, "For what purposes did you want to take samples? Were you thinking of trying to change your daughters into normal girls?"
"Sadly, I have no way to identify which genes to splice in and I have no guaranteed method of doing so." replied Dr. Diggers with an unhappy look on his face.
"What exactly is the problem?" asked the youger girl
"Even if I collect samples from the both of you, I can tell from your appearances that your are not different enough to be able to determine which genes are universal in human females and which are highly individual. I also have no way to spice DNA into a normal person and modify their body once they have developed beyond one or two embryonic cells." explained Dr. Diggers. "The only possible technology we have only works on PokeGirls and I wouldn't trust it to continue working as the subject was converted"
"By the way" he continued, "I never asked your names."
"Kasumi Tendo" replied the older girl
"Nabiki Tendo" replied the younger girl
"Ahh." exclaimed Dr. Diggers "so that's why you looked so familiar."
Nabiki and Kasumi both looked puzzled.
"Your PokeGirl equivalents are members of Ranma Sextome's collection" explained Dr. Diggers
"Intriguing but let's get back to business." said Nabiki, "Would you be interested if I told you that I could sell you the solution to both of your problems?"
Dr. Diggers immediately looks interested and Nabiki smiles.
"Here's the deal. You sign this contract saying that you can't use the information I give you unless we agree upon a fair price once you know it's value
"Sounds fair" replied Dr. Diggers
"OK. Our friend Ranma Saotome is both solutions in one. While on a training trip, he fell in a cursed spring so now he turns into a girl whenever he touches cold water while hot water reverses the effect." explained Nabiki "If you take samples and gather data on both of his forms, not only will you have three pure-human female specimens, you will also have two templates that are identical except for gender."
"And the other solution?" asked Dr. Diggers with a hint of urgency in his eyes.
"Ranma's curse itself is not as specific as it seems." explained Nabiki "the cursed spring was one of many. Each remembered the first animal to drown in it. They are all fed by a single source. In addition, there was once a time when Ranma was trapped as a girl when he was hit by water from a special ladle. It took another artifact called the Open Water Kettle to change him back."
"So you're saying" asked Dr. Diggers "that if we can learn to duplicate the water which caused his curse, we can create at least a temporary change and if we can eventually duplicate the effects of the ladle or make the curse one-way only, we can make the cure permanent."
"Exactly" confirmed Nabiki.
"But how do we solve the problem of the animal having to drown to recieve the desired effect?" asked Dr. Diggers
"Simple." replied Nabiki. "I have a theory that the water will work equally well if not better when fed a concentrated mix of DNA. If all else fails, we could drown Ranma and then revive him. It worked before with our sistem Akane."
"OK." said Dr. Diggers, "Then shall we begin the collection of DNA samples from you two then?"
"Not quite." said Nabiki, "About my fee..."
