"This is so nice," said Akane, twirling around in the light yellow court dress she'd been issued. "No kidnapper princes, no stupid martial arts battles tearing up the buildings, everyone actually being civil and cultured."
"BRAAAAAP," belched Ryoga as he crammed his mouth full of sandwiches. He reached for something to wash it down and managed to gulp three-quarters of a pitcher before realizing it was alcoholic.
"...pig..." muttered Akane.
"Oh look, the princess, she's... she looks EXACTLY like her mother, that's kinda creepy actually," observed Sayuri.
"Ah, the princess, surely one of such a high station should be greeted by one of such station as mine own."
"We're not untying you, Kuno," Yuka informed the kendoist. "Princess Uranus has said that if you grope her again, she's going to reduce you to your component atoms."
Akane was seized with a sudden desire to untie Kuno and give him a little push towards the short-haired Princess.
"What's that shadow on the Earth?" Yuka asked suddenly, looking Earthwards. "That's kinda... uh oh."
"I've got a bad feeling about this," said Akane, unconsciously using one of those phrases that usually meant everything was about to hit the fan.
Ryoga hiccupped. "Uhm. I thinksh maybe I need to stop thish thingie."
The Blue Thunder found his bonds being loosened by one of Akane's handmaidens. "Zounds. Now it is time for the Blue Thunder to prove his prowess in front of not only the fair Akane but the beauteous Princess. I could only wish the pigtailed girl were here so that she could swoon over my impressive victory."
