There were schools like Furinkan at one end, then there were schools like Juuban Senior High. Furinkan was run by a Hawaiian macadamia nut of a headmaster, had young boys who were permanently stuck at the ecchi end of things, while the majority of students were either missing a few cards or otherwise not playing with a full deck. Juuban had its share of blithering idiots, but a number of honor students, and fights were generally unknown. Juuban had a principle who was mysterious and hardly ever seen, most people had never seen him at all. Some of the teachers and admin people were utter and complete jerks who would have fit in fine at Furinkan.
Unfortunately, as Ranma had discovered, in this rebuilt timeline he was neither at Furinkan nor Juuban.
"SAOTOME! THIS TIME I SHALL DESTROY YOU!"
Ranma's hand blurred as he yanked the bullhorn away from Ichiro Yamamoto III and repeatedly hit him over the head with it. "STOP YELLING IN MY FACE YOU MORON!"
"He hit the boss! Get him!"
Ranma wondered if he had offended some kami. He was going to Gateway High School For Talented Students. While he wondered he ducked under the Yo Yo From Hell, grabbed the string, pulled Sachi closer, and punched her in the nose. He leapt over Kumon's sai and kicked him above the ear.
Just his luck to be transferred to a school for people with "talent" - whether it was Ichiro's family fortune and abuses of wealth, Sachi and her depleted uranium yo-yo, the tweaker Kumon who always seemed to be on some illicit substance, or Tidus and his magic sword - everyone at Gateway was exceptional in some way. Kuno wouldn't have lasted five minutes here.
The remainder of the crowd weren't even as powerful as Sachi or Kumon and fell quickly. It was hard to believe he had ticked off that many people that quickly. Oh well.
There was the Hall Monitor, screaming something about people being late. Ranma considered using a Materia but figured he was past the worst of it.
Well, at least nobody had destroyed the school yet. It always made it difficult when the air conditioner was out and it took them a couple of days to fix everything.
Oulala stood and pointed dramatically. "Begin!"
Crepe Suzette hit the switch and the device began its work. Starting from the clocktower to eventually reach the lowest floor, the beam slowly "painted" the entire school.
"Did it work?" Bon Bon asked, grateful that it hadn't exploded at least.
"We zhall see, zhall we not?" Oulala asked as she strode forward, then stopped. "You vill remove ze control panel, oui?"
Crepe Suzette saluted. "Oui, madame!"
"Eet ees good," said Oulala, who had understandably not wanted to be a French maid herself.
