"Ack! He's off again. After him!" Akane declared, hiking up her skirt to run along after the meandering boy.
"Sayuri! We've got to go or we'll be stuck here forever!" Yuka said, then frowned at having hit her friend with a temptation like that.
"Oh, going so soon," groaned Pooh.
"Figured it was too good to last," agreed Eeyore.
"You're on some sort of quest, I take it?" asked Owl as he flitted alongside Yuka as she tried to drag her friend along.
"I wanna stay here!" Sayuri declared. "I mean - what do you think is waiting for me in Japan? Demographically speaking - I'll end up the stay-at-home housewife of some sarariman I hardly ever see OR I'll be an aging Office Lady! I wanna stay in the Thousand Acre Wood!"
Yuka groaned. Well, yes, that WAS their likely fate in Japan and most likely she'd have to give up any individuality fairly early on in some company arranged marriage if she went the OL route. "Come on, we're only sixteen! We don't have to worry about that for another ten years!"
"Truly the Blue Thunder has better destinations than this," said Kuno.
The dinos reluctantly began following their human, but fed along the way. At least they hadn't run into predators.
Owl landed on a branch and considered the group moving off. "You know, this may be a good chance for us to go find Christopher Robin."
"A quest? That is precisely the sort of thing he'd do," admitted Pooh.
"Well, land's sakessssss," spluttered Tigger. "Let's get going!"
Eeyore groaned at the thought of a long journey. "Oh what's the point? One place is as good as another I guess."
Sayuri stopped struggling as a bouncing form passed her. And a little golden bear with a red shirt trotted past. And an owl flitted by. And a piglet was being given a ride by a kangaroo mom and her kangaroo child. And...
"Oh dear. Hang on, I've got to just go and make sure my house is okay," said Rabbit as he bounced away from the group. "I'll just be a moment."
"Excuse me, I probably will regret this, but can I help?"
Yuka gratefully planted her not-struggling-burden onto the back of the blue burro. "Can you manage?"
"I always manage somehow," sighed Eeyore.
"How fascinating," said Owl flitting back and forth along the group. "I don't recognize these woods. What kind of trees are these?"
"It's a pine forest," said Yuka, "here we go again folks!"
