Ranma flipped through, simply glancing at the pages as he went. At least, he did until, near the end, he saw something that made him stop.
His name.
Swallowing nervously, he flipped back until he found what chapter he was reading.
It was simply called, "NOW."
His hands shaking, Ranma began to read again...
Currently, the Anything Goes school has few students, and most of those are concentrated in the Nerima district of Tokyo. This is all part of a plan Happosai has hatched to rejuvenate himself.
The school currently has twelve students:
Soun Tendo, an accredited Master of the school, he remains deliberately blind to the world around him, in an attempt to forget the death of his wife for a few fleeting moments. He is unaware how his selfishness has adversely affected all his daughters, even the one who is not a member of the school. He also remains unaware that his wife was also a member of the Anything Goes school, and that in a way, it was her own curse that killed her.
Nabiki Tendo may have only learned some basic self-defense from her father, but it is enough to include her in the curse. Although not a direct part of Happosai's ultimate plan, she has unknowingly contributed to it. Her continually growing contempt of everyone else has given her a false sense of superiority, something that is likely to bring her nothing but trouble in the future.
Akane Tendo is supposedly the heir to the Tendo school of Anything Goes Martial Arts. However, her father taught her little more than the basics of the actual fighting style, and then (although neither is consciously aware of it,) sabotaged any attempts to improve beyond that point, as well as most of her attempts to gain other, non-combat related skills. She has been unknowingly groomed to be one of the key ingredients in Happosai's rejuvenation plan...
Ranma couldn't believe what he was reading... Mrs. Tendo had been a student of Anything Goes? Soun has ruined the lives of all his daughters? Nabiki was actually a part of this whole mess, not just sitting on the sidelines?
And the book made it sound like Akane was some sort of sacrifice...
But who?
