"Thash my line," complained Ryoga before falling down a slope.
"So far we've been in some place with a lot of dinosaurs," said Akane as she ticked them off. "The Silver Millenium from 'Sailor Moon', Tatooine from 'Star Wars', the 'Thousand Acre Wood', and that place with those three legged war machines that had the death rays."
A Jawa walked by muttering something unflattering.
"It wasn't until we came to a stop in that tripod-ship place that I realized we were picking up additional people," admitted Akane.
"It's kind of difficult to notice some things if there's a dinosaur in the way," pointed out Yuka.
"I'm being attacked by blue demons!" Kuno declared.
"How big?" tiredly asked Akane.
"About so tall," indicated Kuno, holding his hands slightly apart.
"Smurfs. Why'd it have to be smurfs?" complained Yuka.
"Move it, Ryoga!" said Akane, beginning to charge towards the Lost Boy.
Naturally everyone followed.
Around the ruined tower, Yuka shooting a fortification a couple of times with her blaster as the cannibal smurfs tried to attack the humans. At which point one of them accidently hit a stegosaurus. The stegosaurus hit the smurf fortification several times, not by accident.
Past the ruined tower, over the desolate wasteland with the roiling clouds. Through some ruined buildings.
Into yet another wasteland, and this one saw the trail of Jawas scuffling off away from the rest of the group.
"Good riddance," said Yuka as they moved off.
"You're not usually that cruel," observed Sayuri.
"You weren't downwind and close at any point," countered Yuka. "They're worse than a triceratops with gas, and who'd have thought that I'd ever become able to make THAT comparison."
"This looks like 'Hokuto No Ken'," said Akane. "Just be glad Ranma isn't here, we wouldn't be able to pry him away until after he'd started bothering Kenshiro to 'show him a few moves'."
Ryoga threw up over a rock face and started wandering into a crevasse.
The temperature changed abruptly and Sayuri could have sworn even the dinosaurs were breathing in relief.
"Okay, so where the hell are we now?" asked Akane as she looked over the landscape.
