"Stupid Principal sticking up for his pervert son, Kuno." Akane growled. "All men are perverts..."
Akane shook her head. There was nothing she could do about it as long as Kuno's father ran the school. As long as the Hawaiian nut was in charge, Kuno could do whatever he so pleased.
Akane was about to announce that she was home, when a familair female voice rang out through the air.
"By the way, what's with the outfit?" Akane heard Nabiki's voice ask. "Are you into bodybuilding or fitness?"
Akane stopped in her tracks. "Nabiki?" Akane asked herself, as she wondered who she was talking to.
It was then a male voice followed shortly after Nabiki's. "You could say that..." Akane narrowed her eyes. A man wearing a tight outfit? And Nabiki asking him if he were a bodybuilder? "Argh... Probably some pervert!"
It was then Akane decided that she was going to pound this leotard-wearing pervert's lights out.
Nabiki was about to question Ranmam further, when all of a sudden, they were interrupted by Akane barging into the living room. "All right you pervert! There's no way I'm going to let you seduce my sister! Do you... Hear... Me?" Akane trailed off as she took a good look at the man before her. She blinked her eyes a few times. Where did she know this guy?
Sighing, Nabiki understood that Akane was still very much the boy-hating tomboy. Realizing that were was no way to get around it, Nabiki decided to get this over with., "And this, Ranma, is my younger sister, Akane."
Ranma waved his hand nervously. "Hello, Ms. Akane Tendo."
Akane's eyes widened. "Ranma? Your name's Ranma? As in Ranma Jonathan Diggers?"
"Why, yes. I am Ranma J. Diggers." Ranma said in all honesty. "Is something wrong?"
The answer Ranma got was Akane running out of the room, and the sound of her feet running up the stairs. Ranma turned to Akane. "Did I miss something?"
"I don't know." Nabiki said and frowned. That term really was notr coming off her lips easilly.
Then the thunderous sound of Akane running down the stairs was heard and Akane ran back into the living room, carrying a large stack of books in her arm. She placed them down before Ranma. "Can I have your autograph, please?"
Ranma smiled a little.
Nabiki's eye twitched. "Akane, what are you doing?"
Akane looked over at Nabiki. "Nabiki, don't you realize who this is!? This is RANMA JONATHAN DIGGERS! Author of the Emerald Series! He wrote the books about Edgemaster of Emerald, The Northern Thunder Guard, The Raiding Dragon and Tournament of Armaments!
Ranma chuckled. Of course, he had gotten most of his writings from actual events in his life, and those off people on Jade, but the populace of Earth seemed to just love them. And as long as he changed names of places and people, there was no harm. "You sound like a big fan of my writings."
"Yes, I am!" Akane said cheerfully. "My friend Ranko and I have all the books in your Emerald Series."
Ranma became serious. "Did you say Ranko? As in Ranko Saotome?"
"Yes." Akane said. "She's a friend of mine."
"Ah." Ranma said. This was probably why his magic sent him to Nabiki. Her sister was a friend of Ranko's. "Miss Tendo, do you know where I can find Ranko? And further more, I heard she was handicapped. What happened?" He then accepted a pen from Akane and started signing her books and writing messages on the inside of the covers.
"Yes, I can bring you over to Ranko's home." Akane sighed. "As for what happened, Ranko's been constantly attacked by some crazy Amazon from China."
"A Chinese Amazon?" Ranma asked.
"Yes. This girl, Shampoo, has been trying to kill Ranma for months." Akane sighed sadly. "But two months ago, Shampoo challenged Ranma to a fight in a private place. I had followed Ranma to see if I could help, but when I got there, I found them both unconscious... Ranko's legs can no longer support her body, and that crazy Amazon is in a coma right now."
"I see..." Ranma said. He then finished signing his name and putting a little message into Akane's books. "I'll see what I can do for her."
"Could you two stop singing? You know we're not good?"
"Speaking of which, Gina, how come Ranma can sing like gold, while we sound like cracked brass?"
"Good question..."
