Nabiki nodded. "I know, though it's a bit daunting."
"It sure is, what with how everyone's going to react to this news."
"That too."
"Oh? Is there something else?"
"I'd never thought that I would have to admit something like this," the younger woman said with a rueful smile, "but I'm a little... possessive. For so long they've just been ours and now I have to share."
Kasumi patted her hand. "Every mother goes through that. Not exactly like this, but they do."
"Yeah, yeah..."
"We're home!" called out a male voice, and both women turned towards the sound.
"It's my husband," commented Kasumi, who then called out, "In here!"
A tall man with long dark hair came into the room in the wake of a toddler and blinked at the sight of the visitor. "Oh, we've got company?"
"Yes Katsu-kun. This is my sister, Nabiki."
His brows rose as he took his wife's words in. "The one who disappeared?"
"That's her, though she isn't gone any more."
"True," he agreed affably. However the steady look that his sister-in-law was giving him was giving him. For some reason, it made him feel like he was on sale at a butcher's shop, and she was a matron displeased with the amount of meat he offered.

"And that is?"
"Why, getting my dear sister to marry you!"
"Nabiki!" blurted Kasumi, her face blushing from embarrasment.
"It's true! About the only reason that I never forced you to find a date was that I knew that I wouldn't get a good meal then. Still, I knew that I would have to leave, and I didn't want you being stuck behind for the rest of your life!"
"Then I guess that I'm lucky then," he said with a smile.
"Really lucky. Of course, it would take a lot to get her to do so, uh... 'Katsu'."
"I go by the name of Tsunan, Tsunan Tsukioka."
"The artist?!"
"You've heard of me?"
"Sure did! I had some of your pictures myself."
"So what happened to them?"
"I had to sell them," Nabiki sighed.
Tsuan blinked. "For what?"
"Money, of course. I needed it on my search."
"And did you find what you were searching for?"
"I sure did," she said with a soft smile over the rim of her cup.
"So where is it?"
"Aoshi and Kitsune will be coming here soon."
"Misao and Ranma's children?! Here?!"
Bemused by managing to silence both parts of the couple, Nabiki nodded, while:
