"Be quiet boy! Is that anyway to treat your future sister!" Genma yelled out. He noted with extremely satisfaction that both the kids fell quiet at his bark. "Probably too excited for words," he surmised silently.
Ignoring them, his thoughts moved onto more important matters. He had a question for his betrothed and he didn't think he could last much longer until it was answered. He strode over to her, forcefully removing her from the linked arms of Soun and Nodoka. The others stared quietly, apparently spellbound by his manly actions.
Holding Rumi closely, he stared into her eyes, placing all the hope he had for an affirmative answer into his, and asked tenderly,
