The last thing that Ranma remembered was going to sleep in the guest room in the Dojo. just as he had ever since arriving at the Tendo home. That had been normal enough, or as normal as his life got. There were no attacks, glomps from hidden fiancees or odd little happenings that he could see.

So, it was obvious why he was a little surprised to see where he had woken up. especially since he had no idea why he had woken up:
