"Oh yeah!"
The other team groaned. Akane and Ranma were set against them, with no sign of letting up. They seemed be having a competition as to who could score the most and less concerned with the other team.
"Hey Ranma! Someone here to see you!" The instructor called out from the sideline. The other team perked up at the chance to make some points for the first time.
Quickly running to the side Ranma addressed the girl, "Alright, what is it?"
Grabbing hold of Ranma's hand, the brunette half dragged her under the cover a tree away from everyone else. "I heard about the fight with Ryoga and Kuno. I just had to ask you what you thought about it. Isn't it romantic?"
Ranma started a coughing fit, "Wha!? Romantic?! I call it crazy. Those two can fight as much as they want. I ain't get'n in that mess."
The girl grabbed hold of Ranma's hand again, slightly making Ranma nervous and glancing around as if something would hit her. "But the one who wins will be your fiancee! Would you rather be married to Ryouga or Kuno?"
Ranma clammed up, "Errr... I... uhh..."
The grip on her hand tightened.
"I suppose Ryouga - but its not like I like him or noth'n! Come on! We're talk'n about Kuno for goodness sakes."
A smile appeared on the other girl's face, "I knew it! You do care for him!"
"Wha? Wait a sec!"
The girl let go of Ranma's hand. "Oh! I completely forgot what I was doing out here. I was just curious as to what your feelings were." She gave Ranma a sealed envelope with small bulge, about the size of a small coin. "This is a note from the vice principle to Ryouga. Would you give this to him for me before the fight? I need to get going."
Ranma shrugged, "Uh, ok." As the other girl ran off, "Now don't go tell'n Nabiki what I just said! What was your name anyhow?"
No answer came as the school door closed.
Examining the envelop up close, Ranma started walking toward where the guys were.
"Would you give Ryouga something for me? I really would appreciate it if you gave this to him. Its just a
