Usagi instantly calmed down. Closing her hand, she made a quick circular motion, then opened her hand to look at the large silvery colored cartridge.
Her hands moved to the Moon-Gun. A quick motion at the back caused the barrel to pivot downward as the mechanism at the back opened and descended. She slid the cartridge into place, then realigned the barrel and closed the breech with a quick motion.
Shaking it's head, the Youma focused on her. Snarling it charged forward, it's claws ready.
Usagi's eyes met the Youma's. She raised her left hand to support her right as she aimed the Moon Gun at the charging Youma.
From the ledge above her, a red rose was hurled at the Youma.
Usagi calmly squeezed the trigger. Suddenly an explosion of light burst from the gun, spearing forward to pierce into the Youma who staggered back a step, then stiffened as it's body began to crack, each crack releasing a different ray of light. A second later it's entire body lit up. A second after that the light vanished, and the now light gray form crumbled.
Usagi looked down at the Moon Gun. "Hmm, not bad. And the recoil was pretty light too." Then she frowned and took a step forward.
There was a red rose imbedded in the middle of one of ceramic tiles making up the shop's floor. "Now where did? Oh wait, that jerk in. . ." She pivoted toward the ledge, drawing her 1908 Colt.
The ledge was empty.
"We shall meet again Sailor Moon." Usagi turned, trying to home in on the echoing voice. Seeing the flutter of a cape out a window, she jumped in pursuit.
"I am called Tuxedo Mask." Echoed back to her as the figure leaped from building to building.
Usagi took a shooting stance, then came out of it as she realized he was already out of range. "KEEP AWAY FROM ME YOU MORON!!" she yelled.
She considered pursuing the Tuxedo Clad jumping jack, but then she looked back into the shop and saw Luna. Leaping down she grabbed the cat, exited through another window, and was soon on a nearby roof.
"Well, despite the interference of that stranger, you've handled your first encounter with the enemy quite well. . ." Luna started, stopping when Usagi casually pulled back the Slide on her Colt, chambering a round, and pointed the pistol at her.
"Luna-chan," Usagi said in a conversational tone. "I was wondering about how you were able to suddenly figure out how to get ammo for my gun which you've never seen before in your life. How did you do it?"
"Aheh, the visualize close hand circle is the usual procedure for summoning small items. It's similar to that backflip I did to summon your locket. . ."
"I see." Usagi casually flipped the safety on her Colt and holstered it. "So, what else can I summon?"
Luna looked at her. "Well. . . I'm not sure. That is to say, I can remember one or two I can summon and thereby make accessible to you, but while I'm sure there are more, I can't remember them."
"You can't remember."
"The gun won't help. I've lived what you would consider an incomprehensibly long time, and I've also been frozen for another incomprehensibly long period of time. And since I woke up, I've found that most of my memories just aren't there. I didn't remember that there was a Sailor Moon until I saw you the other day for instance."
Usagi looked at the cat, then nodded her head. "I see."
