Genma's Wish: Martial Arts Glomping [Episode 6387]

Looking at him you couldn't tell, but Ranma was both awed terrified prudent! Yes! Prudent! That's it! Saotome Ranma is terrified of nothing! Ranma was prudent, having witnessed the horrifying efficency of that technique. Why, that poor penguin did not last even a minute under the onslaught of that woman. Having come to challenge the dojo Ranma knew he would be the next target of this fearsome martial arts. He needed to think up of a counter and fast! Which reminded him...

"Pop!" Ranma pointed his finger accusingly at Genma, "You never showed me that technique!"

"Huh?" was the answering chorus of three adults, one girl and one penguin.

Ranma angrily stalked towards Genma and grabbed him by the lapels of his gi.

"Twenty seconds, and he was down! He didn't even have a chance to react!" hissed Ranma in a fierce whisper.

"Huh?"

"That chick took that penguin guy down like he was nothing! What kind of martial arts technique is that?!"

On the sidelines, the two women and the girl were oblivious to the interchange, too busy admiring the handsome young man in front of them. Soun and Pen Pen merely stared. Wary of commiting another embarassing mistake, Nodoka decided against unprejudiced glomping.

"Ranma?" she asked in a timid voice, only to turn up in full motherly mode as the young man looked at her.

"Oh, Ranma, my son! You are so manly!"

Nodoka jumped at wide eyed Ranma who recognized the attack he witnessed before.

• Caught by surprise at her battlecry - Huh? Son? What son? - Ranma was unprepared and Nodoka's glomp connected.
• Caught by surprise but ready on an instinctive level, as his father had drilled it into him, Ranma punted the charging banshee through the roof.
• Quick as lightning Ranma pivoted and threw his father at Nodoka.
• Shrieking in terror like a schoolgirl Ranma jumped up and remained there, firmly clutching at the ceiling, trembling like a leaf and mumbling about pits, demons and demonic women and their nasty, evil teeth and claws.
• Desperate problems require desperate measures. With that thought in mind Ranma activate the Saotome Desperation Techniques.

  "Your kimono! It's come undone!" shouted Ranma pointing at the charging woman. It was enough to make the woman stumble and hesitate.

  "An opening!" cried Ranma triumphantly.

• "Saotome Final Technique: Run Away!"
