Fauntleroy, a dragon trapped in human form, smiled, "Simple little man, we all have a beef with Ranma and Grave Saotome, am I correct?" Seeing everyone nod Fauntleroy continued, "Then you all agree with me that we should take care of them. However, before we start this meeting, how about each of us tell just why we hate them, we'll start with Happosai."
"Thank you. As you know I'm the Grandmaster of Anything Goes Martial Arts. But that young whelp never once listened to my demands and bowed down to me, he always caused me no end of trouble, so I want to get even, but I need help." He then frowned, "But it's not just Ranma that caused me problems, his wife also caused me problems. I once tried to get a hug from her and she blasted me all the way to Mt. Everest."
Rook chuckled, "So it's more of a personal and petty thing huh?"
"Yep."
Gothwrain looked at Happosai, "When I was in charge of the Wererat clan, I had a rather large file on Ranma Saotome, just how did he get married with all of those fiancees he had?"
Happosai scoffed, "What fiancees? He had none."
Blinking Gothwrain asked, "Huh?"
"Tsk tsk Gothwrain, you really think Ranma cares about the legal aspect of those engagements? Of course not, he's more worried about the honorable aspect of them. Shortly after Grave and himself got seperated he looked into the engagements more throughly and discovered that none of those girls had an honorable claim on him. The Tendo arrangement was dissolved the instant Genma made a second engagement, Ukyou lost her dowry to the Gambling King before she "lost" it to Genma and Ranma. The Kuno's were never taken into consideration as they have no claim what-so-ever, and as for Shampoo, well, she first gave Ranma the Kiss of Death, Ranma never fought and defeated her in combat in his male form, so the Kiss of Marriage never did apply. Shampoo failed to kill Ranma and was punished for it, as such she has no honorable claim to him."
Fauntleroy nodded, "I see, not that I really care too much about that, Saffron, you're next."
Saffron smirked, "My reason is simple, he killed me and I want to get even. Pee Wee can go next, I don't care."
"That's Lord Ervin Talon to you, you bird-brain you."
Saffron raised an eyebrow, "Watch it kid, Fauntleroy's the only one in this room that has a chance to beat me, even Gothwrain can't do that, and your goon squad isn't here right now."
Pee Wee grumbled but nodded and then he spoke, "Okay, for me it's simple. Those two helped stop me from getting my hands on a mystic artifact that would allow me to enhance my bodyguard's abilities one hundred fold. Those two, along with Ryan Talbot and another Martial Artist named Hiro were able to crush my bodyguards. Ranma took out Daishi, while Ryan took out Zelda, Hiro took out Link and Shin and Grave took out Ionis." Pee Wee shook his head, "Apparently Ranma and Hiro knew each other from when they were younger and have a type of friendly rivalry with each other."
"So just why do you want revenge against him and his wife?"
"Because, bird-brain, I want their DNA. With that, I should be able to find a way to make my fighters the strongest of all."
"I told you not to call me that."
Fauntleroy coughed, "Yes, yes, that's all fine and good, now Rook, what is your problem with them?"
"I just want to hurt Grave, I've never met Ranma personally."
"Huh?"
Rook chuckled at seeing everyone's sweatdrops, "It's simple, Grave and Brianna were once one and the same. I want revenge against Brianna and Sheila for what they did to me. Since Grave is like Brianna, I want to kill her as well."
Lich King nodded, "Guilty by association then?"
"Yep."
Gothwrain coughed, "I'll go next. Because of Grave, I was ousted from my position as leader of the Wererat Clan."
"How did that happen?"
"Simple Happosai, when we saw her on the news, we, as in the clan, investigated the matter. We found her shortly after she and Ranma got separated."
"Let me guess, you tried to kill her right?"
"Yes Rook, we did. She didn't kill any of the agents that were after her, but she made it so that they couldn't preform anymore operations. Eventually, she, and a few others, found out where I was stationed at and came in with both guns blazing, if you will." Gothwrain fronwed, "She managed to kill of my strongest supporters while her, at the time, boyfriend defeated my bodyguards. Her sister Brianna was there blasting everything and anything that moved that wasn't on her side. They were able to make me step down from my position as leader of the Wererats and they even had me ousted from the clan."
"I'm surprised that you're still alive Gothwrain."
"It was simple Faunlteroy, I wasn't there at the time, but the council was forced to eject me from the clan. I came back later to find that I was no longer welcome as a member of the clan. Because of the fact that I was the leader for so long, they let me escape, but I was to be killed on sight, after that day, by any Wererat that saw me."
"A powerful Mage like you worried about a few Wererats?"
"Lich, there are Mages within the Clan which can defeat me, ice and water Mages can."
"I see. Well then, I'll go next. As some of you know, I recently tried to regain all my lost power for a day, I suceeded at that, however I needed to possess a living body to keep it for more than just one day. I attempted to possess my granddaughter Britanny, but that little half-Werecheetah got in the way and ended up with all of my power and possessed."
"So then, what's the big deal?"
"She was able to get free of the possession somehow. I was going to make her kill off her, at the time, fiance, but she refused to. There was a flash of light and then I was back outside her body, staring at her, and she ended up with all the power that I had."
"So she's an Arch-Mage then?"
"No Rook, she has to train to utilize the full power, but she has it, she just hasn't realized her full potential and power yet and when she does, I feel that she will be more powerful than I ever was. As of right now, I'm completely powerless."
"That's interesting and all, but I want to know just why Fauntleroy brought us all together in the first place."
"Heh heh heh. It's simple, those two, when they were still dating, went on vacation in an area where I was at. They stole some artifacts from me that would allow me to return to my Dragon form."
Fauntleroy reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a thick Grimore, or magic book, and tossed it to the Lich King. The Undead Creature looked at it, "Um, what is this for?"
"It should allow you to get your powers back, unfortunately, you'll only get enough of your power back to be considered dangerous to anyone who's not an Arch-Mage."
"I see. Well, it is better than nothing."
