"A price must be paid." she mumbled, half to herself, half to the blundering idiot who had summoned her. It was the way of things, the law of balance, and even she wasn't foolish enough to break that sacred law held by the Demons of hell, the Angels of Heaven, or the misfits of her own realm, Makai.
Genma had started to rethink this plan the moment the word 'Price' had been uttered. Sweating a bit, he had tried to grab his son and run for it while the Demon looked busy thinking only to find, much to his chagrin and annoyance, the summoning circle worked both ways, keeping the demon and his son sealed within, while keeping him sealed out. When her emerald eyes snapped to him, he felt a worried knot take hold of his stomach. "No! Take the boy! He's young, impressionable! Yeah! Just please don't.." he fell to his knees, initiating a technique so feared even Happosai had trouble overcoming the urge to pity the man, the Crouch of the Wild Tiger. ".. take my soul!"
"Your soul?" the Demoness looked a little green at the prospect. As a succubus, the way her kind stole souls usually revolved around sexual intercourse, the mere thought of bedding this.. man, was quite unappealing. "I don't think so." she snapped, her black wings melting into a leathery black substance that oozed down her body like a thing alive, pooling around the unconscious boy and lifting him upwards. "Your son, on the other hand..." she grinned a little, admiring the peaceful cherub faced boy slumbering within the grasp of her leathery appendages.
Genma sweated, a distinct image of a red haired woman, eyes alight with madness while wielding a recently sharpened Katana popped to mind. "Uh.. how about a.. uh." he frowned a little. "Should have gone with the Neko-ken." he ranted a bit, internally. He just didn't want to actually dig that pit, and for once he was cursing his laziness for getting him into this mess.
Morrigan spared the fools rambling no mind, he wasn't worth her time. The boy on the other hand, now that she held him this close, was something else entirely. Deep behind the meaty flesh, the soft organs, the blood in his veins she could see it. Something she hadn't seen in nearly a century. A spark, a gift, a possibility to turn into something truly unique and awe inspiring if given the correct instruction. She subconsciously licked her lips at that, those types of souls always were the best. Bitter sweet, filling, so wonderful to have close. It cracked her cold dark heart when she remembered what happened to the last being she had run into with the spark, the man had met a rather vicious end when Dimitri had discovered her interest.
Cupping the child's cheeks, she brought his small thin lips to her own luscious full ones. Tasting his innocent lips, parting the thin membranes with her tongue, she relished the fear erupting from the boy as he woke up, his wide expressive eyes snapping awake to find his mouth being invaded by a hot, slick, wet serpent that was currently giving his tonsils quite the work out. His struggles were ignored, the child far to weak to do much against the Demon Queen, and soon his mind was lost as a sense of euphoria rose up within.
Genma shivered a little as a burning white light erupted between the Demon's lips and his sons. Slowly pulling back, her mouth still open, he boggled as the light expanded a little between the two. The possibility she was sucking his soul out left a gut wrenching fear in his belly, and neck, so much so that he practically lunged towards the Demon, once again only to crash haphazardly as he ran into the invisible shield created by the summoning circle.
A mote of blue light flashed from his son's mouth as one of dark red erupted from her own, both passing the brief expanse between the two and entering the other. Shortly there after, the Demon closed the distance with his son, their lips coming together in a passionate, if brief, battle. The boy's eyes closed then, his body growing slack as unconsciousness took him to the land of dark, dark dreams.
Morrigan allowed her eyes to flutter close, breaking the lip lock as she took in a deep, shuddering breath. The taste had been so sweet, a forbidden nectar she had every intention of fermenting into something grandiose and... she shook that thought off. Time would come for that later. Lowering the boy to the ground, her emerald eyes fluttered open. "The pact is made. One decade from now the price will be paid." she shot the disgusting human outside her summoning circle a cold glare. "My prize better not be.. ruined when I come to collect, Genma Saotome." her tone was dark, threatening, before her body erupted into flames, her demonic visage melting into ash before fading entirely.
The Demon was gone.
Grabbing his son, his first impulse was to check for a pulse. Finding that, which banished the rampant images of Nodoka chasing him down with a Katana, he gathered to boy up over his shoulder, taking careful consideration to burn the summoning scroll less he be tempted to do something that stupid again, and ran like hell.
He didn't even want to think about the prize the Demon had been talking about, but figured it that no matter what it was, it wouldn't be a good thing in his book.
