It has been said in space no one can hear you scream. In deep space, far away from any planets, Quasar seems to be trying his hardest to prove that saying wrong.
Genis Vell and Ranma hover close to him, with sadistic smiles on their faces. Ranma used his powers on Quasar's mind turning on the pain centers of his mind full bore. Ranma also was feeding off the pain. It was like a thanksgiving feast to him.
Captain Marvel was performing surgery on the protector of the universe with a strange alien device that looked like a scalpel merged with a chainsaw. Genis Vell jammed the device into Quasar's chest and cut a hole with it.
The two then moved back, thousands of miles away, since they didn't want to get hit with the object they removed. Out of the wound came Ego the Living Planet! Ranma teleported the duo onto the surface of the disorriented planet, and attached a device to him.
"There Ego is now under our control" Genis Vell said.
"This is an even bigger ego than mine"Ranma jested.
That brought a smile to Captain Marvel's face and a chuckle. He then said "Teleport use to where Quasar is on Ego's surface"
Ranma did so and they found him. Quasar appeared to be dead. Genis Vell removed the Quantam Bands easily and vaporized the Protector of the Universe with his blaster.
"So what do we need this stuff for anyway?" Ranma asked, still not knowing what the plan was.
"We've making going to become gods Ranma, we're going to truely become gods" Captain Marvel said, almost whispering.
"I'm going to enjoy that" Ranma said.
Probably not unknown to Ranma and very known to Genis Vell was that Uatu the Watcher was watching them. However they didn't notice the other figure watching them....
