"Yea right!" Ranma hissed. "I'm out of here! Deal with your own problems!"
"Don't you want to know what the horrible thing is?" The Boss asked strangely calm.
"Don't know. Don't care. I don't like being used!"
"Oh I think it might interest you . . . Any water you come into contact with will feel ice cold to you."
Ranma froze in her track. She looked wide eyed at The Boss. "Ho-How?"
"This isn't the first time we've talk. Though of course you wouldn't remember it one bit. I asked you to give me a run down on your fighting skills to see if you could really help me and you talked about the places you learned to fight and you meantioned the cursed training ground and what happened to you there."
Ranma felt his insides turn to ice, and it had nothing to do with any mental suggestion. She tried to maintain her composure. "Doesn't matter. Weather I feel it's hot or cold I'll still change back."
"I wouldn't be so sure, youe body only knows what your brain knows, and if your brain ultimately thinks it's only coming into contact with cold water, even if you're unconcious, you'd be stuck as a female. Unless of course you like being a girl."
"Not on your life or anyone elses' for that matter!"
"Then you might want to know the second horrible thing. You're memories will rewrite themselves so you'll think you started out as a girl who got turned into a boy at the springs, and nothing anyone says to you will change your mind."
Now Ranma was scared out of her wits. "You . . you wouldn't!"
"I'm a desperate man. And desperate men do desperate things. If you walk out on this, or if I die, the suggestions will activate. Ranko. Or should I say, Ranma? Or maybe you should get used to your other name."
Ranma bizzarely managed to calm down enough to think things through, maybe it had to do with the idea of being female forever. " . ..If you can do that .. . can you make a suggestion that any water I come into contact with is hot?"
"That might cause some other probelms . .. but if you want a cure that badly . . . consider it payment . . . for when this is all over."
