Julia shook her head a bit, she had gotten done eating with Theo not more than twenty minutes ago, when Gar, Luan and Carla asked her to step up their training a bit. "Well, you did ask to learn to fight better."
Gar, while panting, answered her, "Sorry, it's just that we all took an Earth-based fighter on and lost."
Julia shrugged, "Yeah, so? He was rather tired afterward, even if he was moving like a normal person."
Gar grumbled, "Just how is someone, who was only nineteen at the time, capable of taking on three very good Jaden fighters?"
Julia shrugged, "Gar, he's one of the best on Earth, and that's not something to take lightly, no matter who you are. Three years ago he beat someone that even I would have trouble with."
Gar blinked, "Who?" As far as he knew, there was no one that Julia could not beat in a real fight.
Julia raised an eyebrow, "Oh, that's right. No one told you, Carla or Luan about his fight with Saffron."
"Saffron? Heh, sounds like some sort of spice you put in food."
Julia smirked, "In a way, yes. But you see, Saffron is a Phoenix, he heals instantly in a fight and can vaporize mountains with his fire balls with ease. His only real weaknesses are ice and, to a lesser extent, water."
Gar blinked, "So? You should be able to handle that."
Julia shrugged, "Possibly. I know I could beat him, at least from what Ranma told me, but it would not be easy."
Gar shrugged, "You can beat anyone and anything, it shouldn't be that hard for you to win against a Phoenix."
Julia rolled her eyes, "The guy ripped his own wings off in a fight and used them as weapons. He regrew them a moment later. Other than ice and water magic, his only real weakness is the fact that he can't take a ten ton boulder to the jaw."
"Ah, whatever. Still, just how good is Ranma?"
Julia hummed, "I don't really know. He and I have never fought yet."
Gar shook his head, "If anyone back home found out about us losing to an Earth fighter, we'd never hear the end of it."
"Still, at least you lost to one of the best huh?"
Gar frowned as Julia just chuckled at his discomfort.
