"Ok, hold still," Sayuri commented as the pressed one end of her tape against the girls ankle.
"Are you sure you need the inseam?" Akane asked uncertainly as the bunnygirl ran the measuring tape up the inside of her leg, right to her crotch.
Sayuri rewound the tape, and noted her measurement. "We're supposed to get all possible measures, and that means everything." She then looked up. "Besides, the outfits are custom made to show you off as best as possible, and knowing how much leg you've got to show is part of that, right?"
"I. . . Suppose," Akane responded uncertainly.
Sayuri simply pulled out a small device, clicked a button and held one end up to her ear, the other end curving forward toward her mouth. "Boss?. . . Yeah, I've got the measurements. . . Yeah, a test run will probably be a good idea. . . Yeah, we should have one to size. . . Ok!" She turned off the handset, and put it down. Rising to her feet, she looked over a row of cabinets opposite the lockers, tapping her lower lip with a finger. The with a soft "Ahh," she stepped forward and opened one cabinet.
Rummaging through three shelves she turned and placed the items on the bench. "Here we are, your temp uniform."
Akane blinked as she looked at the uniform in question, then before she could protest, Sayuri started dressing her in it.
First came a pair of sheer stockings, followed by the bottom of the outfit, a pair of jean shorts. Sized just so the full pair would need a shoehorn to fit into, then cut very short indeed, with a little fraying making them even shorter. The white bunny tail was the only apparent add on. Next came the top, a sportsbra. Or not quite a sportsbra, rather a half tank top, with a low neckline, that then had it's back knotted to make it grip Akane's chest tightly. And finally, instead of a standard pair of bunny ears, there was a silk bandanna, that was tied around her head, with the knot on the top, and two stiffened ends sweeped up to closely resemble bunny's ears.
Akane looked in the mirror, trying not to blush. "Um, Why. . ."
Sayuri held up a finger, "Just a moment." Leaning forward she wrestled with the material of the top just enough to add a pin labeled "Trainee". "There! Oh, and the point of the outfit is that the customers are more forgiving of girls who are obvious trainees. Gives you a little leeway while your learning the ropes."
"Oh," Akane responded, still glancing at her reflection uncertainly.
"Look, I've got to deliver the measurements to the boss, then I'll ask. . . Rei to get you. She'll be your mentor while you’re a trainee. In the meantime, you can practice your walk. You look like you don't wear high heels often."
"H-Hai," Akane responded nervously.
