"I'm afraid he did, Akane." Nabiki confirmed, inwardly laughing.
Akane turned to her sister with wide eyes. "Daddy and Mr. Saotome just used my name! as Ranma's fiancee!"
Nabiki smirked. "Yep. Well congratulations, Akane! He's quite a catch!"
"Nabiki!! Don't you get it!! Ranma told us he has a girlfriend and many other girls after him. All of them are good fighters!! And any of Ranma's enemies now will connect him and me too! AND I AM NOWHERE NEAR THAT LEVEL OF FIGHTING!! I can't protect myself if they decide to kidnap me, or to just get rid of me!!"
Nabiki sobered instantly. This wasn't funny anymore...

Nodoka watched her husband on the screen in shock. Ranma Bogard... was actually her son?! Which means Genma didn't raise their boy for the last ten years.
Nodoka got up and grabbed her Katana. She knew where the Tendo family lived. Genma would have to answer to her...

Ukyo was unusually calm when she realized what she had just seen. Okay, so one of the scum-bags who abandoned her was a fighter far outside her ability. Fine. No problem. She'd find some way to reckon with Ranma later.
But for right now, she knew exactly were Genma was, and wasn't about to let him get away from her.

Geese Howard looked at Billy Kane. "Get me everything you can about Genma Saotome, the Tendo Family, the Anything Goes School of Martial Arts, and anything related to them. NOW!!"

Kain laughed at what just happened. Things got more complicated again. How delightful!

Terry put down his drink at what he had just seen on the news.
His date, 'Blue' Mary Ryan, looked at him with worry. "Terry?"
"So... that's the bastard..." he whispered.
Mary tried again. "Terry?"
Terry turned to his date. "I found Ranma lost and alone on the streets, Mary. He didn't even speak any English, only knew Japanese. If Ranma had just gotten lost, that man would have look for him before now. No, Ranma was abandoned. And now this rat-bastard wants to muscle in on Ranma's life?! Over my dead body!"
Mary nodded. "I've got a friend in the Tokyo PD. I'll see if I can dig up anything to help you.

Hokotumaru was still unfamiliar with a lot of this technology stuff. But what he did understand was that Big Brother Ranma was in trouble! It would be a lot of fun to watch!

Beneath the waves, Bonne Janet watched the television screen in anger. So, she thought, my Ranma's engaged to this 'Akane Tendo?!' Well, I'll see about that!

Gato snarls. Now he has definite proof that Ranma's nothing but a two-timing bastard. Now he could kill the little twerp without making his sister too weepy...
