Still, that left her with her current problem. No matter what Asuka might say, she was certain that something was going on. Her ears were definately pointed and there was some sort of point going to her teeth. It wasn't anything blatant as of yet, but she could see the changes in herself.
The only problem was that she didn't know what to do about it. If she had an idea of what was happening, then maybe she could have fixed it. Unfortunately, she was in the dark as to why it was happening, even as she saw it going on.
Maybe a nice fish sandwich and a nap would help her deal with it...
Shinji walked a little behind and to the side of Asuka, not because she was making him, but because he was watching her while he thought. "Uh... Asuka?" he asked.
The redhead glanced over her shoulder at him. "Yeah? What is it?"
"Are you okay?"
"What? I'm fine. Why would you ask that?"
"I don't know... I just thought you might be... under the weather, or something."
"Why? I was checked out and they said everything was fine."
"Well... Okay..."
"Thanks for asking though."
"You're welcome..," Shinji said, surprised at the reply.
"Now are you going to hurry up? If you keep dragging your feet, we'll be late."
"Oh, okay," he said and sped up to walk beside her, shrugging off his concerns for the time, never realising that Asuka was becoming more:
