Ranma blinked once at the unexpected glomp by the blue-haired girl. Only one thing percolated through the confusion in his mind. I am so dead.
He had barely started to react when he heard a bellow from his right. His danger sense flared and he wrapped an arm around the girl currently attached to his waist, and with a quick flare of his ki, leapt across the room just before an umbrella shattered the floorboards where he had just been.
Ryoga yanked his umbrella out of the floor and snarled at Ranma. "How DARE you betray Akane with a younger girl!" His fist clenched in righteous fury around the handle of his umbrella. Seeing Ranma refusing to deny his now obvious perversions, he launched himself and screamed, RANMA! PREPARE TO DIE!
Knowing that Ryoga was beyond reason at this point, (like he ever isn't) Ranma took a quick glance around the room, franticly trying to find a safe place to put the girl before he educated Ryoga about attacking him around innocent bystanders. Seeing a couch out of the line of Ryoga's charge, he broke the girl's hold on his waist and tossed her onto the cushions. Taking a moment to make sure she landed safely, he turned back to Ryoga and dropped into his stance.
Ranma ran through his available options. Amigurkin? Nah, don't want to freak out Tenchi any more than I gotta... Maybe a ki-blast? Can't do that either. He was still trying to decide on a strategy when a flash of light behind Ryoga cut into his concentration.
Ranma leapt forward and was about to lay into the rapidly approaching Lost Boy when the red light flared brightly and Ryoga was shot past a dumb-founded Ranma with a look of terror on his face and on through the wall, splintering the oft-repaired section. The Lost Boy continued on his impromptu flight with a rapidly decreasing, DAMN YOU RANMA!!
Ranma looked back from the hole and saw a smug looking girl blowing imaginary smoke off her finger.
