"I doubt the Chinee government even knows they exist." Nabiki responded, even if she was behind on the events of alternate world, she figured that little factiod was still true.
Ranma frowned, his expression a mixture of anger and dislief. "If that's the case I might ask a friend of the family to check in on these Amazons. From what you told me Ranko had no clue what-so-ever about their laws, and if your right that the Chinese government doesn't know of their existence they have no truely legal ground to make anybody submit to those laws especially forgeiners who don't know about them."
"Didn't help that her stupid Father dragged her to China in the first place when he didn't even know a lick of Chinese, or the fact he didn't fully look into that Jusenkyo place!" Akane fumed, just remembering all the stuffs Genma Saotome inflicted on her friend made her want to hospitalize him...again.
"Her Father sounds like a class-case child abuser, uses her to get what 'he' wants and then shifts the blame she he doesn't get the burnt of it. He may not be the stertypical abuser, but one none the less." Ranma said as he contemplated getting a hold of Agent M to investigate into some of the mess in Nerima.
"Diggers-san, did you mean it when you said you'd help Ranko?" Akane asked. "Also how do you plan to help her?"
"I did Akane." Ranma took a second to think and decided to let Akane know about his abilities, she seemed like a nice trustworthy girl. "You see Akane I'm really an Aura-Mage, a magic user who users his aura ro preform magic, much like a martial artist uses his aura to generate ki for use in battle."
"Really?" Akane asked a bit in awe.
"Really." He smiled. "You see I'm no healing expert (although I do have some healing magic spells) but maybe if I take a look at the extent of the silver damage to Ranko's legs, I can determene if she ccan be treated. I know other mages who specialize in treating Lycanthrope silver burns."
"So there's a chance she maybe able to walk again?" Nabiki asked hopefully.
"There is a chance, but I'd rather not give you false hope. Silver damage to a Lycanthrope is 'serious' business. Her legs maybe beyond help, and if there is a chance to repair the damage she may not fully recover all leg motor functions." Ranma explained honestly. "At best if she can be helped she might require a cane or one-arm crutch to help her balance. If she can fully regenerate the damage if a treament can undo the silver, then she'll be very lucky."
Both Akane, and Nabiki nodded. There was some small bit of hope, but as Ranma just explained, don't expect it.
"So Diggers-san, can you tell us a bit about your family?" Akane inquired deciding to change the subject to something else.
Ranma contemplated and decided with all the zaniness they described of Nerima to him, then he could give them the full story. "Why certainly Akane, I'd be happy to tell you."
Akane smiled holding back an urge to shout in glee and latch onto his arm. While Akane's attitude about boys was not very high, this 'man' was her favorite author, and a perfect gentlemen not one of the Nerima perverts.
Ranma went to explain about his life, omitting some parts that were either too personnal or not nessecary to explain to the youngest and middle Tendo sisters. Both girls were fascinated by his life-story, and were slightly amused that his family saw the same type of craziness they did on an annual basis.
"That's very interesting Diggers." Nabiki said, mentally she was going over all he said. The crazy factor was still there, but a big difference was a stable family life, education, and the fact he was a mage compared to a fighter.
"How come you didn't take up your Mother's art? I think your being a mage is cool, but I'm curious." Akane asked, she was amazed to hear Ranma's mother was a martial artist of such a high calibur and was revered in another world.
Ranma chuckled a bit. "Well Akane, I do know some of my mother's art. Mostly the basics and a few techniques for situations for when my magic is useless, but overall magic comes easier to me than martial arts does."
"Ah I see, oh here we are!" Akane pointed to a house just 10 meters to their right.
The group walked to the house, Akane gently rapped on the door.
After a minute they heard footsteps then the door opened revealing...
