Restart Field Trip : Nabiki's ahead of the game (DARK) [Episode 65518]

by Kestral

Ranma stopped. Dead leaves covering the walkway. Bare leafless trees. Waitaminute!

Reaching down, he picked up a leaf only to see it turning to powder in his hands. Wiping off the powder, Ranma looked over the old asylum.

"Ya gotta be shitting me. Even P-chan wouldn't go in there," said Ranma. "Even POPS has more sense to go in a place like that."

"It's just parlor tricks, Saotome."

"Nabiki?" Ranma started looking around. He couldn't see her but her voice had sounded really close.

"Over here, Saotome."

Ranma looked down. There was Nabiki's head. Picking it up he looked into her eyes. "Nabiki? You're dead."

"Sleight of hand and tricks," said Nabiki emphatically. That she might really really really not want to consider what had happened when she'd gone in there was left unsaid.

Ranma checked. "Looks like a sword wound. You've been decapitated."

"I'm not dead, Saotome. I just seem to have misplaced a few things," said Nabiki with absolute confidence that she didn't feel.

Ranma was pretty sure that he hadn't run into a martial art for sewing heads back on top of bodies. Especially when the body was missing. "Let me explain this to you, Nabiki. You're dead. You have passed on. You are less than halfeas corpus. You have joined the bleeding choir. You have attained the past tense. You are a dead Nabiki!"

"Are you trying to tell me something, Saotome?" Nabiki demanded of the martial artist.
