All the meanwhile the great Demon Lord of the Western Lands Sesshomaru just how the hell something like this could of happened to him. He was the most powerful demon in the world for crying out loud! Just a year ago humans ran in fear of him, hordes of demons bowed before him, and anything that got in his way was given a quick death. Nowadays, demons still bowed before him (but snickered when his back was turned), humans still feared him (but obviously not as much as before), and things that got in his way still died (as long as they weren't cute and fuzzy).
A small rabbit ran up to the demon lord and nuzzled at Sesshomaru's feet. For a moment he thought of just stepping on the creature, or better yet, taking Tokijin out and hacking it to pieces, but turned back to see Rin had climbed back on Ah-Un and was watching him again.
All the meanwhile the rabbit stood there with this 'you can't kill be cause the kid would get upset' look in its eyes before scampering off into the forest.
Rin was really ruining his reputation.
"Sesshomaru-sama," the little girl called out behind him. A feeling of dread started to creep up Sesshomaru’s spine. Rin had called out his name, and it didn't have that 'I'm hungry' kind of whine or 'I'm tired' kind of laziness. Her tone of voice was filled with curiosity, which meant she was going to ask him one of those childish questions that while sounding simple coming from a child's mouth, was infinitely more complicated as he had to make the answer to her understanding.
So, Rin asked the great lord of the Western Lands
