Ranma was startled a bit as Brianna basically pounced and hugged him, "WHOA! Down girl!" Though Ranma had to chuckled a bit, it was nice to see his friend again.
Suddenly Brianna pulled back a bit and slapped Ranma across the face, "That was for worrying me!"
Ranma winced at the slap, he always felt that a woman's slap hurt more than any punch.
Suddenly Brianna grabbed him by the face and just kissed him, Ranma was startled for a bit and then Brianna pulled back, "That was my appology and my greeting." She then winked at him.
Ranma blinked and chuckled, "I guess I deserved that. Heh, I no longer have to look up to you Brianna."
Brianna placed her hands on her hips but laughed anyway.
Watching Brianna kiss Ranma, Sheila frowned and found herself getting a bit mad, 'But why? I mean, I'm going after Tirga, so why does this make me mad?'
Gar sighed, "Um, Ranma, can I talk to you for a sec?" He looked at Tirga, "Get Genn and Seance to Nali's clinic. They need to be healed."
Tirga sighed but nodded, "Sure, sure." He went over to where Seance was and lifted the injured Aura mage up gently as he carried Seance to Nali's clinic, Genn followed him closely.
Ranma shrugged and walked into the inn room where Genn, Brianna, and Seance were staying at, as soon as Gar came in he spoke, "So, what did you want to talk about?"
Gar sighed, "I found out from Brianna that you're the Guyver."
Ranma blinked, "Brianna told you? Gah! I never would've thought that she was a blabbermouth!"
Gar chuckled, "So it is true then? Why didn't you tell us?"
Ranma rolled his eyes, "It's not something I like to talk about."
Gar nodded, "So, um, how's your training coming along?"
Ranma grinned, "You do realize that I can't learn Julia's style right?"
Gar nodded, "I heard about that, though I am surprised, considering how close your style and sensei's style are."
"That's the problem. They're too close, they're some differences, but they're really similar none-the-less." Ranma shook his head, "While I can learn techniques and moves from her style, I can't learn the style itself."
Gar scratched his head, "There's a difference?"
Ranma nodded, "Yeah, I learned a few moves of Amazon Wu Shu, and yet, I don't know that style completely, I know Wu Shu, but not the Amazon varient of it. Just because I know some of their moves does not mean that I know the style."
Gar nodded, "That makes sense I guess."
Ranma shrugged, "Anyway, my training's more-or-less complete. Julia can't really teach me much more."
Gar nodded, "You're lucky. You got to finish your training."
Ranma chuckled and shook his head, "Yeah right. My training will NEVER be complete. Not untill I know everything about the Art."
"Adament about learning everything huh?"
Ranma sighed, "At first it was because I wanted to impress my old man, then it was because it was all that I knew how to do, but now, now it's my life."
Gar winced, "Well, at least you know what you want in life I suppose."
Ranma shook his head, "You don't understand Gar, no offense, but to people like you, the Art is just a way to fight. You can't succede in the Art without understanding it."
Gar blinked, "Well then, what is the Art?"
"The Art is the Art."
Gar blinked incrudulously, "HUH?!"
Ranma sighed, "I can't explain it. I think it's impossible to explain, but you just don't understand the Art, that's all."
"I suppose you understand what the Art is then?"
Ranma shrugged, "I've been told on more than one occassion that I didn't understand the Art, I WAS the Art."
Gar sweatdropped, "Isn't that egositical?"
Ranma shrugged, "Heh, Happosai told me that once. He said that in all his life there was only a few people who understood the Art. He said that I didn't understand what the Art was, he said that I was a living, breathing extension of it. I never understood what he meant though."
Gar blinked a few times and put the pieces together, he finally understood something about just WHY Ranma could learn so fast without having photographic reflexes, 'You're the Art, that's why you learn so fast.' Gar thought to himself a bit more, 'That's gotta be it, you learn so fast because you're a living, breathing example of thousands of years of teachings.'
Ranma shrugged, "Is that all you wanted to ask me?"
Gar nodded, "Yeah. Oh, and don't worry. I won't tell anyone about you being the Guyver."
Ranma smirked, "Thanks man."
"No problem."
