[Episode 66897] [Episode 66897]Prince Stryyp'Gia of the Kryn grunts in pain as he lifts himself up on elbows painfully, shaking his head hoping to unclutter the cobwebs in his mind he tries to think back to what put him like this.
The answer hits him like a ton of bricks, his eyes wide in recollection, he utters a single word.
"..Ranma.."
*Flashback to a few hours ago*
Standing amongst the ruins of what was once a bustling city, two figures wait. The gigures in questions are none other than Stryyp'Gia, and Ranma Saotome in his Guyver form, both seemingly tense and a tad impatient. Sometime ago they had recieved a transmission from Rio, the Father of the Dynasty, a transmission that while sudden was one they did not refuse.
"To the Kryn Prince and the Guyver, my wife Riel and I wish to challenge you to a two-on-two battle. Winner takes all, if you so wish to do abttle come to these corodinates."
Rio's transmission cut off there and while it was brief, its meaning was enough to make up the minds of the ones Rio challenged.
"Guys I don't know this seems kinda sudden if not fishy. I thought the the Dynasty were scared to death of the Guyver, and very wairy of Stryyp and yet they just threw a challenge in your faces, I don't like it one bit."
"Gina is correct something is amiss. Considering the blows you both have delt them, why now of all times would they issue such a thing?"
While Gina & Archon's concerns did not fall on deaf ears, the temptation of putting an end to the slaughter of the Kryn and the planet's decimation was too great for Ranma and Stryyp to ignore.
Now they waited for Rio and Riel to arrive, and an instant later the leaders of the Dynasty teleported a few feet from them.
"Bout time," Ranma muttered tapping his foot impaitently.
"You two will uphold your end of the agreement, correct?" Stryyp inquired, not trusting the Dynasty Father & Mother one bit.
"Considering in order to win you must kill us, I would say that is a yes." Riel chuckled darkly, both her and Rio had these smirks that put Ranma & Stryyp on edge.
"Shall we begin?" Rio's grin just seemed to grow.
Pounding his knuckles together Ranma impaitently replied, "What do you think? Let's get this over with!"
The battle begun, and also the turning of the tide.
Rio rushed at Ranma, throwing a large burst of energy toward the bio-boosted human, who deflected it with his aura, and replied in kind with a sock to the jaw, stunning Rio.
Stryyp began his battle with Riel using telekinetic spehres to keep Riel off balance while he went in for a Flame-Rakker. However Riel simply enhanced her symbiotes invunerability level, took the blow without flinching. Surprised by the ineffectiveness of his move, Stryyp left himself open to a vicious spin-kick sending him tumbling backwards.
Ranma was not trying to cut Rio with his arm-swords but Rio wisely stayed out of arms reach, and once he saw an opening held his arms in an X, focused his power into them and slashed at Ranma's chest putting a X-mark gash.
"That ought to keep you from using your Mega Smasher Guyver!" Rio cackled and sent-Ranma flying into some boulders with an enhanced punch.
As he crashed into the rocks, Ranma cursed at himself for being sloppy. The energy Rio used burned the armor enough, that his hyper-healing abilities weren't healing fast enough to repair the damage quickly enough. It also downed on Ranma even if Rio hadn't taken that extra measure, he had another trump card. With Stryyp nearby, Ranma couldn't risk using the Mega Smasher unless he wanted to risk hitting Stryyp with it.
"Looks like Gina was right, this was planned, they're up to something." The Guyver humaniod thought to himself as he parried and returned Rio's blows.
Then Rio did something unexpected, he headbutted Ranma hard. While the blow did daze Ranma it was nothing he couldn't hand-, " ARGHHHHHHHHH!"
Grabbing his forehead, Ranma felt the control medal whine and glow in pain. While the medal was stronger than Ryoga's was since it was undamaged when it bonded to him and would take more than what Rio could do to break it, it hurt like hell!
"Ahahaha, so that little thing IS your weakness Guyver! I'm going to enjoy ripping it out." Rio remarked coldly with a malviolent sneer.
If Ranma's eyes could they would have widened there and now, it dawned on him that this WAS a trap! Somehow the Dynasty found out the Guyver's weakness, and drew him and Stryyp out here to capitalize on it!
"Now you DIE GUYVER!"
Ranma looked up as the pain began to fade, Rio's arm rushed at him, engulfed in energy as it tore right through his stomach and came right out the back, while at the same time frying him with energy. Ranma cried out in pain as blood gushed out the nozzles on the Guyver's face, slumping to his knees as Rio withdrew his hand.
"RANMA!" Stryyp turned to rescue his friend, it dawned on him they had entered a trap as well and they had to flee.
"Not so fast Kryn!" Riel teleported in front of Stryyp and held out her hand, blasting him with intense energy, sending him to the ground. "Stick around to witness your friend die!"
Taking his cue, Rio reared back his hand, and then thrust forward grasping the Control Medal, digging his fingers into Ranma's head and began to pull hard to jerk the medal free.
Ranma screamed in pain as the direct attack on the medal was paraylsing him, he couldn't move only scream as he felt the life-line of the Guyver slowly being jerked free.
Stryyp tried to get up but Riel stomped her foot into his back pinning him, "I said to watch."
"Dammit release me, he's killing him!"
"That's the idea, hahahaha!" Riel began cackling as she watched.
With one final, might jerk Rio tore the control medal free from the Guyver's head. Blood spewing out, and wiring that helped connect the medal to the Guyver tore free. Laughing at his victory Rio kicked Ranma onto his back, his evil laugh increased in tone as he witnessed Ranma began to disintagrate.
Stryyp was horried as before his eyes Ranma began to literally melt and deteriorate into goop. His friend's cries of agony were like those of a soul in torment, and for all he knew that was what Ranma was feeling like.
With one hand firmly grasped around the medal, Rio raised the other at the still melting Ranma. "Farewell Guyver, may you rot for eternaity."
With one finaly blast, Ranma's remains were instantly incinerated, leaving nothing but charred, melting bio-booster goo behind.
"YOU BASTARD!" Unable to hold back his rage from witnessing his friend's murder, Stryyp threw himself off the ground, sending Riel falling onto her back as he rushed at Rio intending to knock his head off. Rio shook his head, aimed and fired another blast hittign Stryyp dead on, and seemingly incinerated as well.
Getting onto her feet, and dusting off her suit, Riel smiled. "The plan worked flawlessly."
Looking at the control medal, Rio nodded, "Indeed wife, now that those two are dead those world is ours! Come let us return home and show off our new trophy before we have a small celebration."
As the two Dynasty heads teleported to their home, a few meters away Stryyp appears from teleportation and falls to the ground unconcious.
*End flashback*
Getting to his feet, Stryyp felt sick, and angry. Ranma was dead, someone he considered a close dear friend had been brutally killed by those Dynasty butchers.
Looking at the horizon he saw the Dynasty's ship in the distance. As suicidal as it was, he was going to go there and end this war, and avenege his friend. Even at the cost of his own life.
