Meanwhile in Nerima, Genma Saotome was currently using all his skills at stealth to avoid his many pursuers. How could he have known that so much of the people he pissed off would be watching television ? It's not as if it was a factor in a true martial artist's life. They had come in mass at the Tendo dojo : ditched fiancees, restaurant owners, angry martial artists, even his wife... ! Since his unworthy son wasn't there to protect his poor father, the Saotome patriarch had to resort to his most secret technique (i.e. running away as fast as possible).
"THERE HE IS !" Genma took off as fast as his legs could carry him. He had been spotted by that damn Okonomiyaki girl and soon, a huge rampaging mob was pursuing him through the streets of Nerima.
"Genma saotome ! You'll pay for abandoning me and stealing my dowry !"
"Give me the Umi Sen Ken, old man ! And I'll let you live !"
"Saotome ! Where is your son !? He must marry my sweet Kaori !"
"Accursed thief ! You'll pay for stealing our most sacred scrolls !"
"Husband ! Come back this instant ! We have to talk about parental duties !"
"I've got you now, you bastard ! You'll pay for all the food you stole !"
"This is the police ! Genma Saotome, surrender at once ! You're under arrest for too many crimes to mention !"
"Foul criminal ! The Blue Thunder will save the beauteous Akane Tendo from marrying the spawn of a villain like yourself, have at thee !!!"
"Tell me where is Happosai or you'll be sorry, Saotome !"
And so on...
Genma bemoaned about his ungrateful son shirking his family honor. It was all Ranma's fault !
