"Home?" the girl asked, calming only very slightly. "We don't... have a home. Father said he'd give us one, but we can't find him! Where did you see him? Please tell me!"
Ranma tried to edge away, which was impossible with the girl's grip on him. "Um... I haven't seen him," she confessed. "But, my pops said I should look for him."
The girl relaxed her grip, allowing Ranma to squirm free and edge away. "You don't know where he is?" she asked forlornly.
"Well, not exactly, no," Ranma replied evasively, not meeting the other girl's eyes. "But, um, I am looking."
"Then...." Emotion suddenly flared in the smaller girl's eyes, and she latched onto the redhead again. "Then you'll join us, right? You'll help us, so we can all look for him together, won't you? Please!"
"Okay, okay!" Ranma said, begining to feel uncomfortable by the girl's insistant grip. "I'll help you out!"
"Hooray! Wait until I tell Natusumi! Let's go tell her!" The girl released Ranma from her vice-like grip and siezed her hand, towing her down the street.
Ranma sighed, rubbing at her forhead. Well, at least she wasn't as cold anymore, just wet.
"So, where are we going to look for Father?" the girl asked.
