Odin looked at his daughter about to become involved with another mortal's life and decided that his daughter needed a small lesson. (He liked those two families of her pervious venture into mortal romance, before she accidentally turned them into frogs.) Thus one lighting bolt plus the magic pool in front of her and... Action!

Urd is Ranma's sister? She went on the training trip to make sure her brother becomes 'manly'
"SOUN TENDO!! Just what do you mean that little Urd here is because you had sex with the Queen of Hell when she was possessing my body?" "Oh My!.. Mommy."
"Hi, Aunty Urd"
Well the lighting bolt missed Urd, but where did it go?
