Ifurita 1.5: Long Lost Relatives [Episode 67934]

"What?" replied Ranma.

"Well, my name is Kazuya Saotome and I think we're about third cousins."

"Seriously?" Ranma was, fortunately, used to the unusual, and accepted the idea in around three seconds. "Can you do martial arts? Do you have lots of girls pestering you?"

"Uh, er, no martial arts, I'm an engineer. And I wouldn't say 'pestering'. I went to school at Ochanomizu when I got involved with Cyberdyne because of a coincidence."

"So how'd you get working here, then?"

"Another coincidence. It turned out that Cyberdyne had taken over a group called the Saotome Research Institute. They had created the Getter Robo back in the 1970's, you know. Professor Saotome retired and I was the closest relative that Cyberdyne knew about, so I ended up with 22 percent of Cyberdyne and a seat on the board."

"Why would you want to sit on a board? I always use a mat."

"The executive board! Anyway I'm glad I found you..."

• "I want you to take over from me. Would you like to be on the Cyberdyne board?"
• "Do you need a part-time job? All Saotomes get preferences as giant robot pilots."
• "Because you're a Saotome, so we owe you something."
• "Because we owe your father Genma Saotome something."
• "I have this Raideen robot which wasn't made by us. But maybe your friend Ryouga Hibiki can pilot it."
• Something else...
