After the second ring she picked it up.
"Hello, Diggers residence, how may I help you?"
"Um, is there a Dr. Theodore Diggers or a Julia Diggers present?" A obvivious foriegn voice asked, the english was not perfect but well enough it wasn't broken, and Jetta could hear the man's voice just fine.
"Right now their busy with a family discussion, can I take a message?"
She heard a sigh from the end of the line, "Fine...ya'see a friend of mine is missing and we think some werewolf did it from the clues we found."
Jetta stiffened upon hearing that tidbit of information, "Tell me what is the name of your missing friend Mr...?"
"Saotome, Ranma Saotome, and just call me Ranma alright? As for my friend's name its Nabiki Tendo."
Jetta looked at Nabiki and placed a hand over the phone. "Someone named Ranma is on the phone looking for you."
Nabiki's eyes widened and a look of happiness ableit a small one crossed her face as she held out her hand for the phone, "Please let me talk to him."
Jetta nodded and handed her the phone.
"Ranma?" Nabiki spoke a little meekly.
"NABIKI? Is that you?! Are you alright, did you escape, what happened!"
"Yes its me, and I'm not really sure if I'll be alright Ranma," Nabiki sniffled. "I got away from the werewolf but..not before he, he.."
After the water-works and some bawling came from the new werewolf, she silled the story to Ranma over the phone in tears.
On the other end Ranma's body paled, and he griped the wall literally digging his fingers into the wall. To Cologne and Inu-Yasha Ranma looked like someone had just shoot him, (or stabbed in Inu-Yasha's outlook)also Cologne could sense deep sorrow and rising rage build up in Ranma at tremendous rates.
"He wasn't even nearly that enraged during the Saffron fiasco." Cologne mused to herself keeping a close eye on Ranma. "Whatever has happened, its not good." She said louder.
Inu-Yasha nodded in agreement, his ears had let him listen in, while he could hear from what was comming out of the phone, he could hear Ranma's end and from what he got didn't exactly scream 'good'.
"Nabiki, I'll be there as soon as I can." Ranma said with an unsteady disturbed voice. "I promise ya...the mother fucker's gonna die..I'll rip his head and guts out I promise ya."
"Please hurry," Nabiki whimpered, besides Jetta Nabiki felt a desperate need for Ranma's presence. "But, please don't tell my family before you go."
"Why not? Shouldn't I at least tell them I found ya?"
"NO! Please Ranma don't! You now how most people think in Nerima, right now your the only person I know who won't flip out...or can accept me as I am."
Ranma nodded, he was a bit flattered she held such confidence in him not to freak out. Then again alot of shit has happened to him, which made him a bit more sympathetic and clear-headed than others on some cases. "Alright Nabs, not a word."
"Thank you, and please hurry."
"I will."
Both parties hung up the phone.
"Ranma, what is the matter?" Cologne inquired seeing him tremble heavily.
" God DAMMIT! I'LL FIND THE MOTHER FUCKER AND KILL HIM! I'LL KILL HIM, KILL HIM!" He ranted on as he punched the wall repeatedly until there was a large gapping hole between the lobby and the kitchen.
Before Ranma could cause any further damage, Inu-Yasha grabbed him from behind pinning his arms to his sides. "Whoa, down killer, what the hell happened?"
Cologne hobbled over to Ranma and looked him in the face, he looked anger, but also like he was going to burst into tears. "Ranma, what ailes you?"
"That bastard, he, he turned Nabs into a werewolf, raped her and got her pregnant, then the sick fuck had her attack some of his enemies, and his main target for her was a pregnant women also!"
Cologne almost fell off her cane from the shock from Ranma's outburst, even Inu-Yasha had felt go from the shock.
"I was afraid if she was taken by a werewolf she'd have been made into a thrall." Cologne muttered lowly. While uttering chinese curses, she hobbled into the kitchen and returned with a scoll.
"What's that old lady?"
*WHAP*
"OW dammit quite hitting me!" Inu-Yasha growled holding his head.
Ignoring him, Cologne explained, "This is a gate scroll Diggers-san gave me several years ago. Should I need their help this will take me to their home in America. I believe you'll need it more than I do."
"Domo Arigato Cologne." Ranma said with as much respect as he could muster as he took the scroll.
"Your welcome, and good luck to you both. To use the scroll reciet the words Klaatu Vereta Nichtu."
AN: Any guess where THOSE words came from?
"Alright, here goes." Ranma opened the scroll and began to recite, "KLAATU, VEREDA NIC-ACHOOOOOOOOO!"
The spell warped the two out of the Nekohanten, but Ranma's sneeze ruined a part of the spell. Oh sure they got to the Diggers house, but the spell pre-set location of the front porch was altered.
The pigtailed boy and halfbreed appeared...
