They slipped to the doorway silently and smoothly as shadows. The serene environment of Penny's mansion was already infilitrated by these deadly instruments of a madman.
Selena hovered above the scene upon her broom, in human form to present a smaller target. She was smirking as she monitored the progress of her sisters with her magic. A part of her was missing the comments of her familiar, and hoped Aja was all right, left alone at her old home. But the majority of her mind was focused on the task set to her by her master.
"I don't see why all four of us are needed to collect this one girl," Selena whispered to herself.
Had Aja been there he would have reminded her that Penny was Gina's greatest rival and then mentioned the hard time Gina had had with the Diggers' sisters at the Dragon Pharoh's tower. But Aja wasn't...
The slight sound of breaking glass passing over her clairaudience spell alerted her that the home invasion was starting. She nodded as the warriors went in to secure the area for her. The plan was for them to beat the way through Penny's defenses for Selena and then the witch would teleport the lot of them out of there with a teleport spell.
Had they been working on their own initiative rather than through enforced thralldom, then more then one of them would have become concerned at the current lack of resistance. As it was, Selena simply smirked and swooped down to enter the mansion.
They were passing a large screen TV when all hell broke loose.
The TV suddenly flashed into life with Penny's image smiling at them in a not too friendly manner.
"Welcome to my parlor," Penny's image said, immeidately followed by the clanging sound of metal slamming down all over the mansion. "Said the spider to the flies. Computer, warp-field setting G."
"Space-fold, gravity-well created," a robotic, emotionless voice declared.
"This ought to hold you long enough for Dr. Diggers to get here," Penny noted.
"The master has instructed us to invite you to join our ranks, peasant," Kodachi declared. "Dare you turn down this invitation?"
"It's turned down," Penny said.
"Hmph," Selena said. "You're somewhere here, Miss Pincer, I felt you before we started this operation. You'll join us no matter. Let's start tracking, girls." She settled down to begin casting a divination. Selena gasped.
"What is it?" Sakura asked nervously.
"She's not here!" Selena said. "She's gone."
"Teleported by light gate," Penny said. "I got an remote access from Gina for just such an occasion."
"Well, missy," Selena said with a smirk. "I can still trace your soul back to where you're hiding now, and...Silverleaf! Shadow diamond! Volcano pearl!"
The power flared, the spell components vanished in a puff of energy and...
"WHAT?" Selena growled angrily.
"Are you having problems, witch?" Kodachi demanded.
"Quiet, kid!" Selena snapped.
"In case you didn't notice," Penny said. "I activated a gravity-well at my mansion. If you don't know the significance of that, then I should tell you it acts as a sort of dimensional anchor. You are unable to teleport out. Give up and take your cures like good little girls."
"We'll die before we betray the master!" Dani declared.
"I was afraid you'd say that," Penny said. "Computer, initiate battle-mode three-dash-kay-nine-point-five-version-alpha."
"You wouldn't risk hurting us," Sakura said hopefully, noting her master's words on the subject.
"You're lycanthropes," Penny said as the more mundane furniture started vanishing into walls and ceilings to reveal a mass of offensive hardware. "You'll heal what my computer is about to do to you."
"And we got those special lycanthrope tranquilizers too!" Charlotte said sticking her head in the camera. Penny winced.
"Charlotte!" Penny shrieked. "I haven't tested those yet!"
"Oh, is that bad?" Charlotte asked.
****
Fifteen minutes later Penny was glaring at Charlotte still.
"Well the good news is that the gymnast is still alive according to the sensors," Penny said.
"So the tranquilizers work then?" Charlotte asked.
"Yes," Penny said, icily. "It was hardly painless by what I saw though. I'm going to have to compare notes with some mages or something I think, simply using silver nitrate doesn't dilute the effect enough. I'd rather not have tested it in this way. Actually, I was planning on using it on this Brendan...or having Gina use it on Brendan at least. And there is bad news."
"What is it?" Charlotte asked.
"They're working their way to the gravity well generator," Penny said. "Miss Carter managed to track the energy draw. They'll be able to escape in a few minutes."
"Won't they come here then?" Charlotte asked.
"Not through our gravity well," Penny said smirking. "And the only way to reach this place is teleportation, if they teleport outside they'll only find rock. In any case I doubt they'll want to risk the chance I'm prepared for that. Unfortunately..."
"So they're going to get away then," Charlotte said sadly. "And that bad guy will continue to hurt them!"
"Can't help it Charlotte," Penny said. "At least not immediately."
She turned to the computer and typed in a few commands before giving a vocal command.
"Initiate tagging sequence, now," Penny said.
****
"OWWW!" Sakura snapped, rubbing at her rear end and noting the hole drilled into her clothes and ass, though the latter was swiftly closing. "That was a big bullet."
"Bullet?" Dani noted curiously. So far Penny's mansion had been using energy and force attacks.
"Forget it and destroy that generator," Selena declared. "We have to get out of here before she captures us or Dr. Diggers arrives."
"Done," Sakura said, smashing the indicated equipment.
"Hmph," Selena said as the machinery died. "I know you're listening Dr. Pincer, prepare yourself to take your rightful place among us. We'll be back! Silverleaf! Shadow diamond! Volcano pearl!"
And then the four thralls vanished.
****
"The tagging was successful," Penny said smiling. "I've got their location. Time to call the Diggers. Damn, their moving again...well call them anyway, when they stop we'll have them."
