Ranma had gone and come back when the first number hadn't worked. When she'd gotten through all the half the numbers, she was worried. And then he'd come up after trying the last number, she was hoping against hope that someone would be available.
But then he sat down to type.
| No luck with that 'Usagi' girl either. What? None of them are home?

The pigtailed boy shrugged.
| I don't know. You have any ideas? It might be that they are...
transformed too. But I hope not...

Both of them knew that it was a definately a possibility. Ami considered what had happened and it did not look good. She hadn't seen what had happened to them, and that could mean that anything might have happened.
| Hey, they might be out lookin' for ya. That's true... They could... I
hope.

That brought a nod and a confident smile from Ranma. It made Ami want to giggle, and but she knew that it would only be a moment's relief. Still, it did raise her spirits up.
| So, what do we do now? We could look for them...

Ranma gave her an 'OK' sign, but she knew that it wouldn't be as simple as that. Even if they weren't transformed into various items, then they could be anywhere. It wasn't going to be easy, and she hoped that they would be able to succeed.
