That she herself was wearing a qipao was unusual. Not that she didn't think it looked good on her, but she wasn't familiar with even owning one.
"Setsuna not liking this," muttered Setsuna. As soon as she realized what she'd said - she reacted to that too.
She couldn't reach the Gates Of Time. Bad.
She didn't have a henshin pen. Worse.
It was a large house that was NOT the Tendo Dojo, though there WAS a dojo in back.
It was apparently the Chiba Dojo.
After doing a little sneaking and investigating, Setsuna found a nice section of roof to sit down on and review. And incidently decide if she wanted to have her nervous breakdown now or save it for later.
She was Setsuna, a Chinese Amazon who apparently was less a warrior than a sorceress who specialized in Space/Time spells. Her life had been saved by a wandering warrior named Ranma Saotome, and per her own tribe's laws - her life was now Ranma's. Which included trying to marry him and/or ride the Wild Stallion into a pleasant oblivion.
There was Mamoru Chiba and his wife Usagi, who had known Genma Saotome for YEARS since Mamoru had served with Genma under the tutelage of one Master Happosai. A martial arts master who had a secondary profession as a demon summoner. One of the major problems of which was that Happosai had never managed to return a demon/monster/yoma after summoning it.
Chibi-usa had not been born yet. However the union of Mamoru and Usagi had produced several fine young daughters any of whom could unite the schools of Anything Goes Demonhunting Martial Arts.
Setsuna used her Time/Space powers to snag a bottle of Jack Daniels sipping whiskey and then age it another ten years. This was complicated and apparently the Senshi were not the only threads bound together in this travesty. Tapestry. Whatever.
The eldest daughter of the Chiba family was NOT going to cause problems other than scaring the heck out of several of the other daughters. Tsuruko Chiba was just the kind of girl that terrified the heck out of people. She was also married and out of the running, though likely to try helping one or another bridal-candidate along. Whether they liked it or not.
That left the rest of the daughters Chiba.
