However, he was of two minds at the moment... literally. Waking up with girls around him was something that he was used to, though they usually weren't half-dressed ones that he didn't know. But he had some experience in something similar, and as such, knew that panic would be a good idea.
However, there was another part of him which did recognise the two, and wondered why he was worried. It felt that they belonged there, and for some reason, thier presence was comforting. That part didn't see any trouble with them per se, but he did know that he had to get up and out of the room.
Fortunately, they had settled for trying to coddle him as he walked outside...
"Ahhh! There you are Ranma!"
... and into the booming presence of his father. "What d'ya want Pop?"
"Show me some respect boy!" Genma barked, "This isn't the time to be loafing around!"
"Uhh... I was... kind of... busy..."
"I can tell that much, but you have too many responsibilites to spend it like that. You are doing well with your hareem, but this is not..."
"'Not the time'. Yeah, yeah, I know. I just got a really bad headache and everything's kind of wierd today, okay?"
Genma nodded in understanding. "You're not feeling well. That's understandable. So why didn't you say so in the first place?"
"'Cause I got up and things were damned bizarre and then you came yellin'. Ya really... look different."
"I do?"
"You're... thinner. And even if ya could use a bath, ya look ta be keepin' yourself good. Then there's what you're wearin'..."
His father looked down. "This? It's a bit too fancy, I'll admit, but your mother insisted that I wear it. Said that it would make a good impression at the Capital."
"It probably would..."
"It did, but that's besides the point. You have that healer as one of your concubines, so have her check you out and get better. You can't afford to be sick when you need to be on your guard."
Ranma's eyes flashed to the blue haired girl who's name popped into his head as his father talked. For some reason, he could tell that this was 'Ami' and that she was his healer. Which was disconcerting since he both recognised her, and didn't. "I do that."
"Good. Now, I have things to do, but you make certain to come as soon as you have taken care of this."
"Yeah..," the pigtailed young man replied, as he watched his father leave. Then he hesitantly looked around at the girls that were with him. Each of them were not in his memories of Nerima, but they were in the memories of Lord Ranma quite well. From Setsuna, who was his right hand, to his sparring partners/bodyguards Haruka and Makoto, to Michiru, who's music he was constantly complimented on having, their faces and pasts were something that he somehow knew.
So he simply looked at Setsuna and asked, "What's goin' on around here? I know you, but I don't."
The tanned woman sighed, while:
