Ami PC: Giving Voice [Episode 69163]

by Kender

It had been a while since she had 'awakened', but Ami still hadn't figured out all that she had available. As it was, she had do deal with the concerns that she had about the status of her friends, and the possibility that the enemy who had done this would still be around. She knew that it would be best if they had made certain that everyone was accounted for.

But with things not focused on the search at the moment, she knew that she would have some time on her hands. So she tried seeing what she could do, and what her limits would be. The first attempts were towards what would be to see what a normal computer would have. However, as she tried to remember what she had seen, she discovered something interesting.

Windows popped up of things that she had 'seen', but as she discovered, they were recordings. It turned out that everything that the camera caught was being recorded into the PC's, and thus her, memory. The discovery intruiged her, and she went over her new talent, seeking out anything that they had missed.

Besides, it made sure for something to do instead of thinking about Makoto's reactions to being so close to a cute boy, or the fact that one of her new friends' aquaintances had been turned into something rather intimate.

As she went over what she had, she learned that she had all the abilities that any other recording device could give her. Unfortunately, she did manage to get bored while she went over the images, as there were a lot of them. But as she went over them, her eye did catch something that she had noted that she had missed. It had been so obvious a thing that she had never really thought about it, but now she realised that she would have a chance to do something about her communications problems.

Of course, she did try to kick herself, but as a electronic consciousness, she had to settle for trying to get someone's attention.

"So what do we do with him?" Akane asked with a frown.

Nabiki raised a brow. "Which one?"

"Hmm... Kuno."

"Well, I've heard that Kurotani has had a crush on Kuno-baby for a while..."

"Isn't she the one on the sumo team?"

"Hey," Ranma spoke up, "She's the one that got into the local championships, right?"

"Exactly," the middle Tendo said with a smirk, "And I thought that she might like to play with it for a while, but then I don't think that we would want it back afterwards."

"Why is that?"

"She might have had too much fun with it."

"She would?"

"Forget it," the two girls told him.

The pigtailed boy shrugged, and looked around for something to talk about that he did know about. Which he got when he looked towards the laptop.

Excuse me, but I think that I could use some help.

Yeah? What do you need?

Do you see anything like this?
He looked at the image that she put up, and frowned as he tried to get whatever information out of it. Then he looked around for some sight of it, and found what he was looking for on the tray nearby.

Yeah, we got something here like that.

Good, now hook it up like so.

Nodding, Ranma did as he saw in the image, and hooked the contraption into the PC. Then he sat back and looked at what he had done.

Okay, what did that do?
"It allows me to talk to and hear you without having to type back and forth," Ami replied.

The three teens in the room looked at each other and then at the source of the soft voice.

"So you can talk now?" Nabiki asked.

"And hear as well," the transformed Ice Senshi told her, with a mixture of relief and joy in her voice.

"Too cool," Ranma commented with a smirk, while:
