"Did you think you could escape Shadoloo, amazon ?"
Shampoo cursed and turned to face her pursuer. He was a tall man in a matador's outfit armed with a nasty looking three-pronged claw on his right hand. He also wore a mask on his face. However, Shampoo looked in his eyes and could see that this man was a remorseless killer. Taking out her trusty bonboris, Shampoo prepared to defend herself.
"Do not be ridiculous, girl. Surrender now and you'll spare yourself the pain of defeat at the hands of Vega"
"Shampoo is proud amazon ! Shampoo will never surrender to silly masked man !"
"Weak insults... And your pride in your heritage is quite misplaced. Observe !"
Vega snapped his fingers. At this signal, two women wearing shadoloo combat suits emerged from the shadows of the forest. Shampoo couldn't believe her eyes. Sugar and Spice, fellow amazon warriors, had joined the enemy !?
"Sugar ! Spice ! How could you betray amazons ? Why you work for destroyer of village !?"
The two girls remained silent as they took attack positions. This wasn't good, she was now outnumbered and all escape routes were closed off.
"Last chance, girl. Come with me willingly and Bison will be lenient. You'll join your former sisters in his service. Refuse and suffer the consequences..."
Shampoo bit back her tears but kept her resolve. If she was going to die, she'll go down fighting and would drag as many enemies she could with her in death !
"This is Shampoo's answer !" screamed the purple haired girl as she launched herself at the spanish assassin. Vega easily dodged the bonbori strike with a few cartwheels. Sugar and Spice attacked in tandem and soon, Shampoo was reduced to defend against their attacks. They knew her fighting style, making her predictable, and had somehow become much stronger and faster than in shampoo's memory.
Shampoo screamed as her back exploded in pain. She turned to see Vega showing her his bloodied claw. She collapsed on the ground "You... is honorless..."
"Foolish little girl... You thought it was a martial arts fight with all the pretty rules keeping you from being hurt ? I do whatever is necessary to win !" Vega took off his mask and licked the blood on his claw "So tasty... Dolls ! Take her ! We're returning to Bison's fortress with our prize"
The two women wordlessly moved to obey but were interrupted by a mighty cry from above. They jumped out of the way just in time to avoid the newcomer's attack.
Shampoo looked at her rescuer. he was a corean man in his late thirties, wearing a white dobok with blue trim, marking him as a Tae Kwon Do practitioner. He flashed a shining smile at her and took a stance. Then Shampoo's world went black.
"Vega ! I shall not allow you to hurt that girl anymore ! I will bring you to Justice, for your evil ways have lasted for too long !"
"Kim Caphwan... What are you doing here ?" Vega hadn't expected that goody two-shoe to intervene ! "No matter ! You'll share her fate if you like her so much ! Dolls ! Attack !"
Unfortunately for Vega, Kim wasn't alone. A giant iron ball crashed where they had been standing only a few seconds ago. Chang Koehan was also here and on his shoulder was his partner-in-crime Choi Bounge.
Vega did not survive until now by being stupid "Withdraw ! You'll pay for this, Caphwan !" The spaniard and the two ex-amazons scattered and disappeared in the trees. Kim and his "students" didn't pursue. Giving Shampoo first aid was the priority.

Shampoo regained consciousness as night was falling. Kim, Chang and Choi were happy she was out of danger. Shampoo decided to trust the outsiders who saved her and told them her story.
Of course, Kim made a righteous vow to help the poor girl in her quest for Justice and pledged his help (as well as his students' to their disgust) to the noble cause of destroying Shadaloo once and for all. He knew like-minded fighters who could lend a hand. Tomorrow, they would leave to recruit allies.
