Of course, that still left it being something strange to see in a shrine's yard.
"What the heck is this?" asked a new, yet oddly familiar voice.
All of the watching girls turned and looked at the new arrival, staring as they took in what she was wearing. While seeing someone in what looked like a modified fuku and heels was strange, it wasn't as quite odd as it could be. So they merely blinked several times and looked at her as she stood there.
"Who are you supposed to be?" Chihiro asked.
The girl frowned. "You know who I am, so don't play dumb."
"Sorry, but even if you look a little familiar, the last time that I checked, I didn't know anyone wearing an orange miniskirt."
"Just look at my face and you'll know who I am!"
Megumi shrugged. "Sorry, but I'm pretty sure that we've never met."
"You can not be that forgetful. Why don't you actually try?!"
"I'm sorry," Sif said apologetically, "but why don't you just tell us? Then we can watch the nice minions. They've got banners waving and everything."
Scowling, the orange clad girl gave a growl of frustration. "It's me! Sayoko!"
"Sayoko?!" went Megumi, "Rich girl, tall, beautiful, kind of snooty..?"
"Yes! ... And I'm not snooty!"
"But how did you get dressed like that?"
"I found this pen in my purse, and the next thing that I know, I'm calling out 'Venus Goddess Power', and winding up like," the rich girl ground out, weaving her hands at herself, "this!"
"Oh..," the engineering student commented, and shared a knowing look with the other two girls.
"What?! What is it?!"
"You're a Senshi, Sayoko," Chihiro told her.
"Eh?!"
"Yes," agreed Sif, "charged with protecting people from the monsters and other bad things that might want to hurt them."
"You can't be serious."
"Oh, we're serious," Megumi said cheerfully, "So welcome to public service and having to deal with minions, like now."
Sayoko blinked and looked at the show that the guys in the metal outfits were putting on, while:
