[Episode 7001] [Episode 7001]"Oh... my..." Was all Yuka could say when they entered the store. They had thought this was a pet store... and it was, too.
But ohhh, what pets!
Yuka's attention was immediately drawn to a cage containing a lounging Tiger Boy. He was naked, though his fur offered a sense of decency. The tag on it read "Ry-Ry. Strong and tough, but a kitten at heart. Gender can be adjusted to taste. Price: XXXX" Yuka was interested... she might be able to scrape that together. She decided to see what other pets were available.
Meanwhile, Sayuri was fascinated by "Dachi, the Naga. She just wants to give you a hug." A second sign below the first had a different message: "The management would like to assure you that she is quite unable of swallowing an adult whole. However, small animals and annoying children should be kept away..." She sweat-dropped as she turned her attention to 'Dachi' herself. She watched as the snake-girl coiled around and then glared at her. She could swear that she had seen this snake girl somewhere before...
"Sayuri! Come look at this!" Yuka called from the deeper in the store.
Sayuri found her friend standing in front of a tank. Swimming within was an honest-to-goodness mermaid! She had short hair, but unlike on children’s shows, this mermaid wore no clothes, her bosom free to view. Sayuri noted that she bore a resemblance to the Naga she had seen earlier. She read the tag on the aquarium. "Tachi, the mermaid. Can survive in both fresh and salt water, but must be kept wet. Take her home for XXXX"
Yuka watched the mermaid as she swam around, apparently in a daze. "I wonder what's wrong with her?"
"Ahem."
Startled, the two girl whirled and came face-to-face with the Clerk. He was nondescript, but bore a large, friendly smile. "I'm sure Tachi is just excited! After all, she just went on display an hour ago, and already has been sold! Her new owner will be coming by in a little while to pick her up. I'm sure she'll just love her new home. After all, we here at Furries 4 U take great care in making sure the new pet owners are responsible and good to their pets. I am sorry if you two were considering purchasing her...?"
Yuka blushed. "No, I was just surprised to see her... I mean, a real mermaid! I've always fantasized about being one..."
Neither girl saw how the Clerk's eyes lit up at that...
