Forgotten Realms magic met the Nerima chaos factor and the laws of anime universes when the Wheel of Fortune card remade the human Nabiki Tendo into... something that wasn't completely human anymore. Needless to say, the result wasn't something a faerunian would recognize straight away.
Nabiki's hair grew beyond her former pageboy cut to reach the middle of her back, chestnut brown turning to blonde in the process. Two white horns, pointing behind her, sprouted from her head.Tingling in her shoulder blades heralded the appearance of tiny batlike golden wings, followed by a tail near her posterior. Her shirt, pants and underwear greatly suffered in the process.
In short, Nabiki had become a dragon/human hybrid not unlike Mink of Dragon Half, except her draconic parent was obviously a gold dragon, a Slayers gold dragon to be precise. Insanely high physical strength, the power of flight (her wings could grow bigger on demand) and a laser breath weapon were also part of the package. She couldn't access the more esoteric abilities of a faerunian gold dragon however.
There were also tiny changes for the better in Nabiki's height, bustline, waist and overall comeliness but a paladin such as herself was above flaunting such things. Until the draconic mating cycle kicks in, that is...
Nabiki shook her head to get rid of her confusion. Gold dragons were practically incarnating her newfound ideals, she should be proud of her heritage!
The sound of a flipping card announced that her short reprieve was over. The half-dragon paladin (Did she champion the cause of Law and Good or was she the terrestrial arm of some deity? She wasn't sure at the moment) turned to look at the result of the third and last draw:
