And thus, she kept up with what Ataru would remember till the day he died as The Smackdown.

In the meanwhile, the rest of her party were busily searching for the ring... somewhere far, far away from Cologne. After all, she had that area covered.

Surprisingly, it was Genma who found the ring. He raised it up, to get a better look at it, but then he felt a pull. The ring beckoned him, eating at his mental resistance. He heard a concerned cry from that blonde girl, Usagi, but it was all in the background for Genma as he...

• put the ring on. It had been corrupted after all! Darth Genma vs. Ranma & Co.?
• held back at the last possible moment, throwing the ring on the ground as far as he could.
• put the ring on. But wait... it's not one of the Ten Rings?!
• got smacked on the head with a gnarled staff. Cologne might have been anxious in beating up young Happ Ataru, but she still kept track of the situation.
• Something else?
