"Excuse me, do I understand correctly that someone's running around turning cute little girls into computers, clothing, and other objects?"
Everyone stared at the serious looking figure standing among them.
This was a different looking Happosai. He wasn't glomping, he wasn't even leering.
"Uhm, yeah, that's pretty much it. Innocent schoolgirls, children, that sort of thing," agreed Uranus.
Fwooom!
More stares. Was Happosai putting out a battleaura?!
Happosai was furious. If these two were any indication than the gi and the computer must have been fine looking girls. Not only they - but whatever underwear they'd been wearing - had been made unavailable. He couldn't even grope or watch them from secret when they'd been transformed like that. "Whoever did this must pay!"
"Back to the engagement of one Ranma Saotome to Makoto Kino," said Nabiki, wanting full details.
"Oh, that uhm," said Sailor Uranus trying to come up with something off the top of her head.
Found it.
Everyone stared at the laptop now.
"You found it?" Nabiki asked.
Makoto Kino. Engaged to Ranma Saotome for... this can't be right.
"Was it a rice and two pickles again?" asked Akane drily. She was beginning to wonder if the Tendo arrangement had involved food somehow at this point. She would be very unhappy if it turned out that the whole Tendo engagement involved something like vegetable stirfry.
Three cases of sake? Ami disliked lying but it was obvious that Haruka was in over her head. She'd explain things later.
Happosai ah-hahhed. "AH HAH! So that's how you got that drugged sake you used on me!"
"I thought we had just stolen it," said Soun. "Waitaminute. Saotome! That guard, what did you tell him to get him to go away?!"
The panda looked up from where he was trying to get these darn roses out of his butt. [How should I know?] (flip) [I just made up something on the spur of the moment.]
Uranus tried not to look stunned. She had been right?!
Nabiki put away the bill. With anyone else she'd have serious doubts. With Genma Saotome? Entirely too credible. "So this goes directly to the It's All Genma's Fault running tab."
Ami was surprised everyone was accepting it this easily. In a way though, especially from the occasional pink showing on the fabric, Makoto already knew Ranma's body in a more intimate manner than was considered proper - so it would just stand for now. They could get it straightened out later. Right now there were more important things.
Genma pulled the last rose out.
"Hey, Pops, I wanna show you a new move," said Ranma as he grinned and cracked knuckles. Sold him off again, eh? "Mouko Takabisha revised. Imperial Thunder Dragon!"
crackle. ROAR! ZZZZZZZZZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!
"Whoa, nice one, I think I actually saw his skeleton light up a couple of times on that one," said Mamoru approvingly. Jealous? Him? Well, maybe a little. The knowledge of what this boy's reaction to the next revelation would be though. "By the way. The new fiancee that your father arranged. You're wearing her."
"Wha?" Ranma asked, pulling at the fabric of his gi. "Where?"
"The gi," supplied Uranus. "She's one of the victims."
"Hah?!" Ranma asked. "I'm wearing a girl?!"
