"I wish...I wish... Oh! I'm sick of Ranma's attitude and manners, and lack of education, and- No! I don't want anything to happen to him - or her! I just wish the one who loved me was like Dr. Tofu, a love that was mutual, that was-"
Every small thing on the floor that fallen there since Kasumi had last cleaned the foyer, the shoes in the shoe well, the things on the phone's table and then the table, and then the phone in Akane's hand itself were raised up in the air to swirl around the strangely dressed girl as she rose, too! As Belldandy lifted her head, a bright, white beam shot up from the mark on her forehead, seemingly opening a hole in the ceiling, shooting up not through the upper story, but up into a celestial cloudscape.
And then the beam was gone. The ceiling restored. Everything settle haphazardly onto the floor. And the goddess (which Akane couldn't doubt in the slightest, now, that she was) was standing, again.
"Your wish has been approved," she smiled in a very Kasumi-like way.
"Ap, approved?" Akane, in her awe, couldn't quite remember what she had wished.
"Hai! When the contract is approved, the so-called "Ultimate Force" starts working."
" "Ultimate...Force"?" Akane gulped.
A knock came at the door.
"That is probably your wish now."
"It is?" Akane was afraid to open the door, would it be "The Tiger or the Lady", to coin a phrase.
"Akane, will you get that?" Kasumi called out.
"Akane? It's me, Dr. Tofu. Kasumi!"
"Tofu!?!" Akane, in a panic, turned back to the goddess. But she was gone. "What have I done?" She felt terribly guilty, already. "I didn't want to take him away from Kasumi!"
The courteously over, like an old friend of the family that he was, Dr. Tofu slid open the door.
