Which had been a telling of a guy who had come from a planet named Krypton.

Which probably meant that this production of 'Beauty & The Beast' would probably go about as well as 'Romeo & Juliet' had.

"I wish that I had powers and abilities far beyond mortal man so I could get the heck out of this situation," complained Ranma.

"Oh wow, that's hardly what I expected, but WISH GRANTED," said Mihoshi. "Now how I can do this? Oh, I know!"

• Ranma, the last son of Krypton?
• Ranma gets this nice red suit with a black cape that will only work for him, but Mihoshi didn't leave an instruction book?!
• Ranma is a werecheetah. Which is not a little cat such as is in the nekoken. Zip Zoom Zing!
• Ranma gets some other kind of resolution to the wish.
