Only Kasumi and Ranma truly sat at the dinner table. They were also the only ones who ate anything approaching a normal meal. Just preparing a meal for Nodoka had been a challenge. But it was, for the first time in a long time, an essentially quiet meal.
"What are you going to do after dinner Ranma-kun?" asked Kasumi as her new fiance plowed into dinner with more gusto than he had before.
"Huh? Nothin' really. Just plannin' ta watch some television," answered Ranma as he stopped in his inhalation of food for a moment. "Why'd ya ask?"
"I was just wondering. But don't you have to take care of your pets?"
"Ummm..," said her fiance as he glanced at his pets, "I'm supposed ta, but I think they're okay for now. I'll make sure they're okay though."
"Oh, okay. Do you know what you will be watching?"
"Nah. It ain't like I got a plan or nothin'."
"Why don't you watch it with him?" put in Nodoka.
"I don't know..," said the eldest Tendo, trying not to scan the nicely muscled body he now had, and failing miserably.
"I wouldn't mind," said Ranma.
"Well, I guess..."
And so they finished the meal and:
