Irresistability.
Hikaru Gosunkugi smiled at the idea. Ranma got all the girls; why shouldn’t he get some of them? With irresistability, he could get all the girls he wanted - Akane included!
The demented laugh came naturally as he prepared the ingredients - cat’s eye (gee, that was an odd birthmark on that cat), warrior’s blood (He kept a bit of Ranma’s, just in case), and a hard-boiled phoenix egg (easily obtained), among other esoteric herbs in a soup with a mead base. He scratched the power circle on the floor, lit the candles, and drank the potion before sitting in the center of the circle, the book laid out before him. He’d memorized the chant anyway; however, he didn’t know if he might forget it.
“akabetelp mocamai.... akabetelp mocamai... akabetelp mocamai... akabetelp mocamai...”
He said the words tentatively at first, then with more focus. He could feel the power in the words, he could feel the lines of force from himself to the circle to the candles to his veins to the words to the circle... he spoke the words almost in a trance. Soon, he lost sight of the candles or his veins... there were only the words, and the words were all.
Then he felt a calling, a sense that it was done. He opened his eyes.
