Hero of Rokugan (Crab): The Fate of an Empire [Episode 7382]

by PsyckoSama

Ranma sat as he thought of how to explain this. If he said too much, he might endanger himself and his mission. If he said to little Kisada would see through him. He would dishonor himself before his Daimyo, and more importantly, disappoint the closest person he father in two lifetimes.

“Samurai, you will answer me,” said Kisada. His voice was cold and brooked no contest.

Ranma nodded. “Hai, Kisada-sama.” He paused, and sighed. He didn’t have to hold much back, as Belldandy had told him few fine details. “If he ain’t stopped, Fu-Leng will return and he’ll conquer all of Rokugan. The Hantei’s 1,000 years of Peace will become Fu-Leng’s 1,000 years of Darkness.”

“That has been the price of failure since the first Hida stood before the Shadowlands, since we first started battling Fu-Leng’s minions. You’ve told me nothing I don’t already know.” Kasada paused. ”Do you know anything else, samurai?”

Ranma nodded. “Father this is much, much more than that. When I said that he’s gonna return I mean just that. Fu-Leng is gonna be reborn. He will return in the physical sense and if he’s not stopped, he will take the emerald throne... I really don’t know much else, 'sept that's a really bad thing.”

Kisada’s eyes steeled with focus. “Dark God or not, he will never make it past the wall.”

Ranma shook his head. “Dad, not all of our enemies are on the other side of the wall. Cancer kills ya just as dead as a katana. We defend the empire from invader’s, but what if the forces of darkness are already here?”
