The Watcher floated between worlds, only to slow at the sight ahead. Where most worlds were separate, ahead The Watcher could see connections, binding the realms together like the strands of a spider web.
The possibility wars. The Watcher declared in solitude. Suddenly there came a sense of danger.
Twisting in place, The Watcher saw the strand erupting form the adjacent reality. With a fierce thought The Watcher floated backward, just out of the way of the strand of reality as flew forward to strike and sink into an adjacent reality.
Keeping an eye peeled for more such threats, The Watcher looked at the strand that had come so close. A Dimthread. The Watcher intoned as the strand disintegrated. The bridge will soon follow.
