Inventor Shinji: Cybernetic Musings [Episode 74113]

'If we lose the power-cords, the EVA's only have a limited time to do anything.'

Shinji recalled a manga that he had read at his uncle's house, when he was stillliving there. He frowned a bit, as he thought of the main character.

'She had more battery life than the EVA's and was very effective, maybe I could do something like that. Maybe build an Ifurita unit'

As Shinji thought of building an Ifurita unit, he mentally sighed. "I don't have the means to build the body. I would have to find some sort of body to use. Hmm. What if the person was a cyborg?'

As Shinji pondered that idea, he nodded. "That would be the best way. Now who?"

'If I used Asuka or Rei, their plugsuits would be the best for them to wear.'

'So, I should convert......'

• Rei. Asuka keeps calling her a wind-up doll
• Asuka. She is a great fighter
• Both of them.
• Maybe I should use Misato instead. That leaves the pilots alone. And I could do it while Misato is passed out
• Maybe Hikari. Toji might kill me, but at least she wouldn't be subjected to NERV scrutiny all that much
• Maybe some other girl
